It the time of the year again to recognize the individual who's gone out of their way to work on, support, and promote West Thompson Lake DGC. The vote will begin immediately and will go until 5pm on Friday 10/1/10. The vote will be by ballot via PM or by letting myself or Jack Gabby know your vote. Thank you to EVERYONE who has helped out at WT this year, it really shows. The course has always been a great course, but now more and more people are playing it and I'm so glad we could bring it up to speed with good tees and signs!!

Its official, West Thompson Lake now has 18 cement pads! There are also tee signs on almost every hole as well. Come to the West Thompson Open this Saturday to see for youselves!
Thanks to all the volunteers who helped make this happen!

We now have a practice basket and area behind the parking area near hole 1. Very cool, check it out.
Cement pads are going in right now. There will be something like 9-10 cement pads at WT now. Give it a day to cure and then come check it out!

We are installing a practice basket near the parking lot and will be doing cement tee pads very soon.
Please come help us out.
Details are on the nefa board.

The Disc Golf Karma gods have graciously returned us the basket for Hole 8.
It's re-installed and ready for league tonight. The cement isn't entirely cured so don't lean/hang on the basket or putt with the strength of Sir Robert and we'll be good.

The basket on Hole 8 has been stolen by unknown sources. It had to of happened after last Thursday and couldn't of been an easy task since the basket in the middle of the course.
Anyone with information is urged to contact either Steve Dakai, Mike Murphy, or any other local.
League will go on as normal.

The next 9 tags should be in soon. After they all go I'll debate getting more depending how many more people want them.

Rain didn't start til lunch, which was nice.
Handful of golfers came out to help clean up. Lots of trash got picked up and most of the driftwood has been removed too. Some of the boxes were raked and tamped, so that'll help for now.
Thanks to all the locals (and a few not-so-locals) that helped keep the course that they play in good condition. The rangers are planning on doing another work day this year too.

I've been thinking about getting some tags.
I've been talking with Jim Bobka and we can get some basic tags for a few bucks each. They would be "lifetime tags" as I have no desire to do this yearly. I'd buy like 30 or so and just sell them. I'm not running a league or collecting at tourneys. It'll be up to people to do on their own.
