I still have 48 spots left for the Riverpark Romp so I wouldn't worry too much about pre-registering. Day of registration is available from 7:30am - 9:00am. I wouldn't wait until 8:45 to register in case there is a rush of registrations that morning. Player packs are GSS stamped DX Rocks for all AM divisions. Any discs left over will be available to buy for $10 a piece. Open division will get first dibs. We will have the extra mini hole pot at $5. Winner gets a Innova DisCatcher ... more

Hey everyone! I am planning on trying to get up to solitude every day that I can this summer, but if I want to do that I need people to come with me. I can give 4 people a ride up in my car (3 comfortably). If you are interested, I will be 'scheduling' a round here on discgolfscene every time I am going up there, so check out the home page for when I will be playing. If you want to tag along just message me on here or text me my number is on my profile. Add me as a friend if you aren't friends with me/ don't know me and want to come. The rounds will probably be in the late mornings.

FYI. I have 84 spots already filled and only 95 players packs for the Farm Friz. I have 36 spots left so if you are planning on coming and are not signed up yet, I would either get ahold of me today or show up early to register tomorrow.

I just wanted to say, as a fellow tournament director, I had an absolute riot at the Creekside Open. I felt it was well organized and the course looked great! Congrats to Dave Martin for being professional and congrats to Big Wave for making the course look great!

I have a long list of sponsors and an event planner waiting for the right person/people to carry the torch for this great cause. Eternal thanks to all...

Creekside Park clean-up day is this Saturday April 28th. We needs lots of help to bust this out. We need to remove all downed and dead branches from the park. Mainly 3a and 3b. Trash needs to be picked up and trash cans replaced. I can't do all this work with my hurt shoulder so I really need the help. should be starting about 10am or 11am. Bring gloves, weedwhackers.....

Moab- Base Camp is incredible. I Like Lake Walcott, plus it's only a 3 1/2 hour dive.

I thought I read a article regarding Fairmont Park that they were redoing the whole park, Ampitheater, Dog run and Volley ball courts. I think it was scheduled for 2014, or 2015. Would be great to get in on the planning before they start revamping.

My friend at SLCGOV probably only has jurisdiction over the parks on this list (which unfortunately excludes the county parks, such as Creekside or Crestwood and any other parks further south): http://www.slcclassic.com/publicservices/parks/list.htm . Also the 'Natural Areas' on that list may be off limits because of their ecological significance, but I was wondering about Jordan Park (33.5 acres) or Parley's Historic Nature Park (87 acres). Check out the pictures, they look promi ... more

You can't sell at the park without a license or a permit.
