Southgate Tournament Season 2014
Yes my friends, there will multiple tournaments held at "The Gate" golf course in Southgate this year. They will be purchasing 9 Chainstars this year with plans to purchase 9 more next year. I will be helping out to run the tournaments and we will be playing 3 different course layouts. They will all be doubles fundraisers and I would love a strong Moose showing to support the events. As soon as we nail down dates I will be posting tournament info with links where to register.

2014 Disc Golf
Well, now that the snow is slowly melting it is time to dust off your plastic, for those who have been dormant all winter, and get ready for some disc golf. There will be a lot of exciting things going on this year including frequent updates to this league page. We hope to start an indoor putting league this year at Moose Meadows and will be more involved with a few local tournaments and club events as fundraisers for the 2014 Night Moose Open. Yes ladies and gentlemen, it is getting close to that time once again. This could only mean Night Moose Open 2012. This is the 3rd consecutive year we will be running this event and it will be held the weekend of October 25-27.
Friday the 25th we will be hosting a glow round at the Moose Meadows course as well as an after party. There will be specific prizes and CTP's for everyone who comes out for the glow round. As usual, everyone is welcome to bring a tent because we have plenty of room. Saturday the 26th the first round will be at Willow Metropark. We will play 1 round of 24 holes from the shorties. The second round will be at the Moose Meadows course in which we will play two rounds. Lunch will be provided on site, however, you are responsible for your own refreshments. The tournament format will be the same as in previous years in which you play doubles with rotating partners and the lowest single person score is the winner.
This year the max number of players we can accomadate will be 40. Unfortunately it will not be open registration. Due to the amount of holes playable at the Moose Meadows course we can only house 40 players. There is a reserved list of club members and frequent Night Moose league players who will be informed by either myself or other staff members of their invitation. Thanks for everything and all the help from all the league members who have assisted running leagues so far this year.

Night Moose Representation in Tournament play
It had has become apparent to me that zero members of our Team Night Moose Disc Golf Club has been victorious in the fact of leaving a tournament with a trophy in their respected division, in a few months. This is proposterious and unacceptable, as of course we all know, and we moose are bred to be strong, cunning and capable of destroying any field. Remember this the next time you step up the tee pad and are staring down the chains before a tournament. You know where your home is. Bring the gold back to it.

Mandatory Night Moose Representation
The USADGC! All members who can qualify need to so we can have a big group of moose out there! qualifying rounds will be shot the week prior to the event and I know Bosman's going to qualify that way and its not a hard round, so if you can't get the bid from a tournament (there aren't many left) just roll out there and shoot your round, need at least 1 other person with you for the round, so keep that in mind.
