Buzzy's Handicapped League
Only one week until the league starts!
Remember, you need at least two recently recorded rounds to establish a handicap, so if you want to be able to win prizes on the first league night, you need to establish your handicap ahead of time.
I'll be at Buzzy's Wednesday (the 17th) and Saturday (the 20th) evenings at about 5:00. Meet up with me then, or coordinate your own rounds with at least one other reputable Skylands member and let me know your scores.
If you choose to show up on the 22nd without having established your handicap, that's ok, too. You won't be eligible for the weekly payout, but you can still join the optional Ace and Birdie pots and compete for the CTP, which has been generously donated by Dodo's Disc Golf Shop in Allentown PA. Thanks, Dodo's!

--$1 optional ace pot
--March 22nd and 29th: 5:10-5:25 registration, 5:30 tee-off
--All other weeks: 5:40-5:55 registration, 6:00 tee-off
--Weekly prizes given to the best adjusted score
--Series-end prizes for the person with the four lowest adjusted scores
--Handicaps based on last three rounds
All prizes will be merchandise—discs for weekly prizes, other merchandise and discs for series-end prizes.
Newbies (people who have never played in a Skylands doubles or monthly) will receive a free disc the first week they participate.
Current 2010 Skylands members who bring a newbie will get a mulligan that week. (Only one mulligan per week). Show up. Bring a friend. Spread the word. Grow the Sport.

MIGHTY GAW WORK DAY

We need help Sunday. We have to cut up some down trees and branches, shape up the shoot to the green, and drag the wood downhill to the right out of the way. We also need to sink a sleeve for the basket. It will not be a lot of work if we get a turnout. Please come out Sunday morning and help get this done so we can have the Mighty Gaw back for the rest of the fall.
Also, in the past we have changed the Mighty back to the Campy layout around November 15th. This year, there is no reason to change the course back to the shorter Campgaw layout until snow is on the mountain which could be well into December. PLEASE help us get this done, i hope to be there around 9AM.
