3rd Annual HORNING'S MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND CAMPOUT!

***REMINDER*** As some of you are already aware... we will be doing the 3rd Annual HORNING'S MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND CAMPOUT! The dates for this are Friday the 24th, 25th, 26th, and 27th. I may be heading out there on Thursday evening. This is a sure thing and a must for all of us! I know not everyone can make it out, but even if it's for a day and or a night or 2! GREAT! Sorry that this conflicted with the CGDG Ace Race down at Taloali goin on this Saturday, as well. If you didn't get in to the Scramble, get your asses down there and support what they got going on. The Gang down there are kick ass, and got some game too!

Just a couple words to my homies in the crew. Thinkin we need to get together a few times comin up here pretty soon. Startin with Stubb Stewart this weekend...then I'm thinkin there's two events that we, as a squad, need to show up, represent, and have some hukkin fun! First one is the ACE Race at Horning's comin up soon (link below). Who doesn't love an ace race? Plus, Joe said there will something a li'l "special" for all his Silverback Brothers and Sisters who show!

It's been a busy summer for all of us so far, and I'm excited for the rest of the year. Congrats is due to a few 'Backs on their performances...Andy, Adin, Stylez, nice shootin at the BMO, and Redneck Rob..?...what a great win to start your "professional" career! Joe, nice showing with a solid 2nd at the PowGnar, sorry I didn't end up on the mountain with you, Vitamin A, Redneck, and Adin.

Ebeling, Hippie, Waters, Buddy, and Kermie...I'm callin you guys out. It's been far too long since I've thrown a round with you Gorillas. Timmbo, you and Big Shawn have good excuses...well, his is good. I mean, who gave you permission to leave for the summer,Timmbo? That was not discussed. Where my Gorilla Ladies at??? Now that Shawn's coming back, I expect to see Taylor out at some late season Gorilla Invasions too, we haven't forgotten about you!

SilverBack Invasion 4/20 Weekend Horning's Hideout!!!

SilverBack Invasion, Horning's Hideout, this weekend! Come on out and camp with us on the best weather weekend so far this year! If you're in the tourney on Friday, then hit up Stylez and let him know where you're camping. We (Dru and I, and a few others) will be gettin there early on Saturday, probably around 9 or 10, unless some circumstances change. It's going to be a BLAST!!! Hope to see a bunch of you there!

Gorillaz!

The newest disc golf course in Southwest Washington will be dedicated this Sunday, March 18th, 2012 at 1 p.m. The course was made possible thanks to forward thinking park rangers, local volunteers and a generous donation from an anonymous local resident. Volunteers have been busy working at the park building the course over the past month. The 9 hole course 80% complete and volunteers are waiting for dryer weather to complete the rest of the course. Volunteers have been busy working at the park building the course over the past month. The 9 hole course 80% complete and volunteers are waiting for dryer weather to complete the rest of the course. Even though the course isn't officially completed numerous golfers have made there way to the park to try out the new course already.

The events on Sunday will start at 10 a.m. with competitive rounds of golf, along with a long distance drive competition, putting contests and more. The dedication ceremony will take place at 1 p.m.

The disc golf course is located in the north end of the park under the I-5 freeway. The dedication corresponds with a free admission day at all Washington State Parks so the public will be able to attend the dedication free of charge.

I don't know about you guys... but the long Distance Drive Contest is right up my alley :)
