What a great showing by the SHDGC ( Scarboro Hills Disc Golf Club ) on Saturday. They not only assembled the course in a matter of minutes , but proved to be great ambassadors of the sport for the locals we had in attendance.
It was a joy to see the course being played. It was fun seeing the " rain of discs " on # 1. Thanks to all for giving of your time and feedback ...

thanx to all who attended and tested the Rising Sun course. Great turnout and hopefully we gave Mr. Taylor some positive feedback. I'm sure we'll have at least one more practice round involved. French Creek was great and thanx to all who made the trip. looking forward to more roadies with the club and whoever else wants to join us. man, chuckin bees has never been so good!!

still meeting at wawa at the intersection of 136 and rt1 at 9:30 tomorrow.....IF SO=My camera/tripod, THE "little one", and I will DEFF be there to help in any way i can=GREAT cause!! :o)
i can send on entire copy of what i film to whever whould need it (just ask i get credit for filimg the footage)
*Just a simple mention=NO $ involved*

Ed we have gotten lots of help offers and more is welcome. I think the video would be a great idea. We've been talking about doing some recording. Bringing your son should not be an issue at all. We're meeting up there around 10 am. Thanks for your efforts.

i also have a 1080P HD camera that i can bring to record, BUT that will make me LESS help and MORE of a videographer.

I am available Saturday morning to help out, but i will have my 2year old that day (He spends half the time in the stroller)

It's almost that time of year again. GLOW GOLF IS BACK! Nov. 9 we'll be lighting 'em up. Start time at 6 pm. One mid and one putter. Come on out.

Im totally with you! I was tossin around the idea of a fall tourney with my bro the other day, I think it could be a lot of fun to do a later tourney, like start around 3 or 4, do one round regular while theres still light, than the next round glow, that could make for a really interesting game! In the middle we could have a little cook out and drink some beers to get ready for the glow round, we could call it "Harvest at The Hills" or somethin haha. I'll be glad to organize that if everyone is on board! We got plenty of time to plan it! haha

nah, cory that's freggin awesome bro! i like the idea of fun-kins. next year, lets schedule an Oct 30th glow tourney and set up fun-kins and pumpkins all around the course. now that would be sumptin....who's with me..? :))

Spoke with David Taylor this evening. I tentatively scheduled for us to meet him this Saturday, October 30th between 10-10:30. He said that he won't try to keep those of us that want to go to French Creek too long. I told him that most of us would bag the trip to stay at his potential course and go through it with him. So with that said, does Saturday or Sunday work better for us? I'm out Sunday and I told him that, but I also told him that doesn't matter, ya'll ...

who's in to join me at French Creek on Saturday? I have Dave as a definate, possibly Cory, John, Ridge, who else? I'm going to marinate some chicken boobs and bring a cooler of beverages. If other folks want to bring some side dishes (chips, salads, pretzles, etc...) we can have ourselves a nice bbq in between rounds....i'm coordinating with the local club to see if we can have a match play type day or just some friendly rounds for bragging rights...

Edit: Oct 31 is ravens bye. Same weekend. I was one day off.
Was talking to Jeff B and the Churchville Rec President today while I filled out the background check. Both were excitied to see the work and progress being made already and really wanted to get council out to course to check it out. The president also asked to see if anyone was interested on sitting on the Churchville ARec council to ensure we got our voice in for rec council matters. just passing the word out
