Played Springfield today. On hole 13 a woman was surveying in the 13th fairway. I approached her to let her know that she was in the middle of the fairway and asked what she was doing. She stated she was making measurements for a new playground that will be constructed on the 13th fairway and that the 13th hole was to be removed.
Anyone heard anything about this and why this location was selected? Why aren't they using the space next to the Tennis courts as an alternative?
