How does that address the issue with poor design and destroying your discs? The chains don't slide like they do on all the other baskets. I'm sure there has been plenty put elsewhere to have these complaints so they could be designed to not do that. I understand the durability aspect, but take pride in designing something that is worth it.
How many of you out there have had your discs rendered useless or have to use a lighter to fix them? Good thing the PDGA allows that now or w ...

Here's some food for thought for the baskets at the goon. It is the most played course in the state. With that comes the most vandalism, in the state. As long as that course has been in, the original baskets have been broke and repaired countless times. I agree with you all. The new baskets don't have the friendliest chains. It's frustrating having those spit outs! But, they are the most durable baskets you can buy. When we are talking about an over played "recreational" course, we should not hesitate to choose durability over playability.

Where did the pre- "2010 layout" baskets go? I know one or more was stolen by some bonehead(s) during work on the current layout.

I actually put in an order in for new putters because of the gouges I have in mine. What fuct mind bought these and put these in here? Was this a local guy that made these? I'd like to talk to them to give them feedback on this shitty design.

I have no problems helping to raise funds to replace them or sell the ones we have.
From what I hear, the ADGA are the ones that installed the baskets currently there at Westchester. I find it funny after the complaints I've heard about the practice basket at Kincaid. From my own observation there has been no improvements over that design and this basket is just as guilty F'ing your discs up. How long has that basket been at Kincaid? Regardless of the answer.....long enough to l ...

Sure... I got a fix for you. Lets just go retro and put the original tire baskets back in.
Have you tried Hanshew? Go talk to ASD about that to.
You could always raise some funds for better baskets. The ADGA would be happy to help you install them on the course.
Your club name is also confusing. It looks like you want the course gone.

I completely understand your point. Instead of complaining about it, do something constructive about it. Make it a goal to make a basket that your satisfied with. Come up with a design that you like, patent it, market it, produce it, pdga approve it, and sell it. I'm serious! The manufacturer did! People doing that, is what made this country so great. Plus, how cool would it be to have an Alaska style basket out there for people to buy. If not, then be the leader of a fundraiser campaign ... more

Plus, how cool would it be to have an Alaska style basket out there for people to buy. If not, then be the leader of a fundraiser campaign to buy different baskets. Just figure that you'll need to raise $5k. Hell, i raises $1,100 for hilltop in a week. So anything is possible, you just have to apply your self! We could sure use that kind of energy out there! No matter what, just keep your head up and your discs in the air! Peace
