In all fairness, all RIVAL CLUBS events thus far have been on a Saturday. The unemployed players club comment was meant to be funny, NOT offensive, if I offend I'm sorry. If it takes using one of my few vacation days to represent RIVAL CLUBS and the committee of TDs Choice to score the SSNW event to the series, I will. Don't think a have anything other than a lasting reputation of fairness for RIVAL CLUBS in mind.

RIVAL CLUBS was created to improve relations and share players betwe ... more

Unemployed Players Club..is that directed at SSNW for choosing an open date for Rivals? Not everyone works Monday thru Friday, Beast. I think the remark was tasteless and unwarranted. The individual clubs were given the calender to schedule an event that best suits the club hosting the event and now its an Unemployed Players Club Tournament because its a Wednesday instead of a weekend event. Perhaps a smaller turn-out by CCDGC will even out the points distribution for all the other clubs with a less players on thier roster.

I see 41 DGscene players picked RIVAL CLUBS as one of their favorites! I hope it will keep growing. Traveling to other clubs home course to represent your clubs pride and prowls is the point of RIVAL CLUBS. I'm working on ideas for the finale and the trophy for the season total points leaders(TPL) in divisions and the club with the most points. The TPL club will receive a traveling trophy to be reused each year. Possibly a plaque to be etched with each years champion club.

To best serve the players of RIVAL CLUBS, last minute events scheduling (little notice) is not fair to out or town clubs. I would like to hear ideas from MVDSA and SSNW as well as other interested clubs to coordinate 2012 schedule before posting events dates on DGscene. TO RIVAL CLUBS TDs; Use the "Talk" feature of DGscene or PM each other to avoid conflicting events.

i think what he is trying to say is: 1. that a trophy must be provided by the host team for the winner. 2. a rivals club must beat the host by at least 0.5 points to take the trophy from the host. 3. in the event of a tie the host wins the trophy. at leastthat is what i got from that mumbo jumbo

A trophy provided by the Host Club. In the event the Host Club is beaten by a Rival Club, it is given to the winning club. Was this agreed to before the first event at Keizer? This sounds a bit confusing.

Although the schedule has NOT been set for the 2012 season of RIVAL CLUBS yet, it looks like possible courses in the series are; Keizer Rapids Park, Dabney Park, Willamette Park, Horning's Hideout, Hagg Lake, Dexter Park, and one other neutral site. Sound good? Well, only one event scheduled so far and I will keep you players posted.
