Planning a work day for after the snow melts enough for us to drive in, down at Churchill Park DGC clearing fairways and putting up some natural targets so we can play and figure out the layout for when we get the baskets and tee pads in.

Have: Gloves, Boots, Cutting Implement.
I will bring for us to use: Twine, Drill, Screws, Saws, Shovels, Rakes and more.

If anyone can help, get a hold of me. I'll try to make it for a day when the most people are available.

!!!!COME ONE COME ALL!!!! Hudson Springs Disc Golf Course now has 18 brand new 4’ x 12’ concrete tee pads. Come help us celebrate this awesome accomplishment. Next Tuesday August 28th at 6:00pm, we will have our first weekly scramble on the new pads. It would be sweet to break those puppies in with a 35+ scramble. The format will be the same as always $5 + $1 optional ace fund. The Ace Fund is at $300 with a back up at around $60. Our club has been influenced and supported ... more

We will be pouring tee pads at Punderson this Saturday at 8am. Our goal is to finish the BLUES. Any extra help would be appreciated as we have two trucks ordered. Once the trucks arrive it goes pretty quick so it will not be an all day thing. Thanks!

Hey Sports Fans! Nine Red Tees are getting concrete tomorrow(7/14). We meet at 8am for a little orientation and prep work. Should be done by lunchtime. Then random draw scrambles at 2pm. The Park Manager will be out with us. Even if you don't feel like working, it would be great if the course had allot of traffic so the park can see for themselves that they should embrace doing the maintenance. If you have not been out in awhile, the park has ground down ALLOT of stumps and done some mow ... more

Because our focus has been on tee pad forms, there are allot of stump holes that are not filled in yet. It's not bad, just watch your step. We'll get 'em done soon.

So our Youth Group is planning Par for Pets on July 21st to benefit the Geauga Humane Society's Rescue Village. We WANT to get families and new players involved so we are going to have a 9 Hole Family (New Player, teams of 4) Scramble and hopefully include 4 discs with their registration. We would prefer that the scramble groups be mostly those new to the sport, if you want an excuse to bring your spouse and kids, please do so! We just want to keep this round fair for those who have never pl ... more

We will also have a Singles Round following the family scramble, at least 12 Holes... Lowest overall score (hopefully at or below par, hence "Par for Pets" will receive a special trophy).

This is ALL to benefit Rescue Village, and hopefully some adoptable critters will be there as well, and of course it would help out the league as well and hopefully get new players and teens involved. Please spread the word, and mark the date!

I am a graphic designer who recently started playing disc golf with the Friends of Punderson and to help them out, I have created a t-shirt and apparel shop where you can order custom shirts, hats, hoodies, etc. that I designed or using my designs. 100% of the profits from this shop will be donated to the Friends of Punderson to help maintain the course and support events.
