Fisherman Central in Coventry Plaza on Manchester Rd is now carrying Innova Discs. Come down and check them out, we are right down the road from Portage Lakes Disc Golf Course. In the same plaza as Save-a-Lot and Harbor Freight. As long as we can sell them at a decent speed we will look into carrying more companies as well.

I'll start telling people. nice with someplace close

Sounds like a winner, Kevin. I'd like to think that the people who swim out in the lakes for discs, return them. Perhaps Fisherman Central could be the place for lost discs finding their way home---------------------- - +

If people want to bring them to me here I would be glad to get them to there rightful owner. Let people know thats fine with me. Just have them ask for me

Hey everybody there is going to be a new fishing tackle store opening up in Coventry Plaza, by Harbor Freight and Dunkin Doughnuts. I am going to be working there and the owner and myself have been talking about possibly selling discs there. I was curious if people would go there to buy them and what would they be looking for. Please e-mail your feedback thank you. My e-mail is [email redacted]

I heard you and your girl were working there. I know Adam he is good friends with my cousin and went to school with him. He is a great guy and yes he should mabey venture into the disc golf stuff and see if it takes off or not. I think its a great idea since there is nothing really around the lakes or close that sells discs.

Don't miss out on the FIRST stop of the Frozen Fingers Fairway Charity Tour and Winter Point Series!

Heated bathrooms? Large enclosed pavillion with two giant fireplaces? Pot-luck fixens'?

Wingfoot State Park is one of the best locations for winter golf!

I wanted to give you a heads up the Dynamic Discs and Tiger Town DGC will be hosting another tournament this Saturday at Lincoln (Oak Ledges) this Saturday November 29th @ Noon. The format will be similar to the Trilogy Challenge that we hosted in the Spring. There will be the opportunity (for the first 25 registered players) to receive another killer player pack from Dynamic Discs: - Classic Soft Judge - Putter (2013 Disc of the Year) - BioFuzion Truth - Midrange - BioFuzion Renegad ... more

Disc golf continues to grow exponentially but under the mainstream radar… This lifestyle sport has everything to do with landscape design, culture and leisure recreation for an increasingly urban world… Anyone interested in this subject should check out this 2013 MLA thesis from Cal Poly Pomona: Disc Golf Course Design: Inscribing Lifestyle into Underutilized Landscapes, for the short, cold months ahead:

All, It has been relatively quiet and I’ve noticed NO tournaments coming up anytime soon. That being said, we were looking at possibly putting together a 1 round, 3 Division Tournament similar to the “Trilogy Challenge” that Tiger Town DGC hosted earlier this year with the help of Stark County DGA. - Cost would be roughly the same ($30) and you would receive a “Player Pack” with 3 Discs (Valued over $50) just for registering - There would be cash and ot ... more

Sam, sounds like a good idea. There is a tournament this Saturday though. Tomlinson Run Civil War. Its just over the Ohio river in West Virginia south of East Liverpool. Its a very nice course, check it out

Anyone going tonight to the scramble. And if so what time?

Jon DeCapua   October 16, 2014 at 2:56pm

not sure they are running it anymore, lack of light would be an issue

Jeff Gayhart   October 16, 2014 at 3:00pm

They stopped the scrambles awhile back

Was just wondering if there might be a Turkey toss on Black Friday Again?

I have a few people interested if this may happen, I think we started around 10 am last year.

Saturday July 26 I’ll be working at Westbranch The Grassman from 9am till dark. Please bring rakes, clippers and anything that can be used to remove weeds if you have them. I’ll get weed eaters from the park. I recommend long pants, gloves and bug spray. Any help is greatly needed and will be greatly appreciated.
I’ll provide hot dogs for lunch. Bring you own drinks. (no alcohol please) And we will get a round in before the day is done!
Please call if you have any questions 330-904-9513
