Putting League update

Putting League tonight @ 6:30 at Yorktown lanes!
Last week's format change worked out great. We changed it up to where each player will get 90 putts. One of the stations in the final round will be worth double points. This allowed us to shave almost an hour off of how long the league will run. We should be done around 9:00 - 9:30
We also added a side game this week.
Hope to see everyone there.

Legacy Discs Battle of the Aces

I am already in the process of bringing this event to Veterans Memorial. I have searched tournaments in the nearby areas to avoid as many conflicts as possible. I have narrowed it down to Saturday, July 2nd or Saturday, August 27th. I am trying to make this as big as possible. Which one of those dates would work best for people? Please leave your feedback so I can finish off the details on this awesome event as soon as possible. Thanks in advance.

July 2nd has 3 events in the area already, August 27th would probably be your best bet.

NUTZ.... aint the only reason

From a player playing one of Parmas courses....

"I hope you don't know how big squirel nuts are, but as we we're walking up the fairway on # 3 at TRI-C we could help but notice this one bo legged squirel with large testies"

WOBBLES is his name, and you would wobble too if you have been thru what that lil furry guy has been thru.

Tee pads longer?

PDGC has donated time and money to complete the task of making one of the tee pads at the Vet longer.

PK Deaner and myself.... made form, back filled with gravel, and poured an extra 3 feet to the end of
#1's pad.

PDGC will be recognized on the rear of the pad as a sponsor of the extra pad

If you wish to help out, we need a few more pads done. $50 is the cost of materials, labor will be performed by the PDGC.
You will then have your name or clubs name in the pad for the life of the pad.

The goal is to complete this by may21st

course reviews

Beachwood, OH
5/4/2010 The fourth and final course in the Cleveland area is the most difficult. A great mix of wooded shots with small elevation changes gives the course a great risk / reward feel. This is really the only one of the 4 Cleveland courses where you can get yourself in trouble & have to scramble to save par. Birdie options on 1 & 9 are a must for a solid round, while the rest are difficult, but possible.
Why only a 3-star? Because it only has 9 holes. The local ... more
