Trash Bash Format

We currently have 5 teams signed up.
6 teams works best, 8 teams is OK also.
If you are the 7th team, you will need to bring team #8 in with you.
This is purely based on format issues, because match play requires another team to play against. 7 teams means someone will have to sit out every six holes, and even then it will get extremely complicated.

Chuckers Fantasy Football

Mt. McSauba Disc Golf Course in Charlevoix

... is having a work-bee today and tomorrow from 5-9pm. We already have 4 players committed to driving up there tomorrow to help out, so if anyone would like to carpool with us, give me a call! 632-2775.

P.S. Mt. McSauba is being built by the "Chain O' Lakes Disc Golf Club" out of Charlevoix. Our good friend Ric Evans (original founder of Northwoods Disc Chuckers) is heading this up.

There will be a "set the record" doubles kickoff going on there for the Venetian Festival this weekend.

2011 League Info

There will now be league action twice a week! Thursdays @ 5:30 ... Random Doubles Will be held every Thursday at 5:30pm, beginning April 7th, and ending September 29th (26 weeks). This will be a traveling league, playing primarily at Kingsley, Myles Kimmerly, and Hickory Hills. A couple of other random courses will be thrown in just for fun. Mondays @ 5:30 ... Handicap Singles
Will be held every Monday at 5:30pm, beginning April 11th, and ending October 3rd (26 weeks). This league will be played at one course, Hickory Hills. Player’s handicap will be determined by averaging their 3 previous singles scores. If only 2 scores are available, only 2 scores will be used. League start date subject to all 24 baskets being in at Hickory.

Cost for both leagues: $5 entry fee ($1 fee for non-members), $2 ace pool, $2 deuce pool.
100% of entry fees paid out. $1 non-member fees are put towards end of the year prizes.
Ace pool capped at $300, with the balance carried over to the next week.
If a cali hits an ace on his 2nd shot, they still win the ace pool.
Deuce pool capped at $300, with the balance carried over to the next week.
If only one partner bets the ace pool, that players receives his 50% of the pool, the other 50% goes back in.

Hickory Hills Work Day

We're organizing a clean-up day on Thursday to get Hickory looking nice for the big tournament this weekend. We will be starting around 10am, and should be there most of the day. We need all of the help we can get, even if it's just for an hour. Some folks have said they will be showing up in the evening after work, so if that's an option for you, we'd love to see you there.

Ace Pool rules

Just a reminder to all...

The same rules will apply as last year. The ace pool will be capped at $300, and all extra money will be put into the next pool.

Also, if a "cali" hits an ace on his second tee shot, he still takes 100% of the ace pool.

Looking for help!

This is a message from a fellow disc golfers girlfriend: If ANYBODY has seen my boyfriend, Jacob Cabinaw around please have him contact me or his family!! We have not heard from him sense Wednesday when he went Disc Golfing with his friend at Hickory. He drives a '02 or '03 Chevy Malibu (silver)..
