The city meeting has been postponed till July 6th. They wanted the whole presentation last week, but we didnt have it ready to give them. Now we have more time to do it right.

Hey all, I had a great opportunity to play Riverdale last Thursday night and ran into Kent. I live in North Salt Lake so am really divided between NUDGA and Team Utah because SLC and Riverdale courses are equally close (far :-]) from me. I thought it would be a great idea to push for a disc golf course in the Bountiful area and have thought about the area west of Legacy and just south of bountiful lake. I'd like to start fielding out the interest of NUDGA to support such an effort. What do y ... more

Just another reminder that some of us will be working on the course again this Saturday at 10:00 am. We have more tee pads to fix and baskets to straighten up. If someone wants to weed eat around hole 1 go for it whenever you want. Also the fairway mounds on 18 need some too.

Brigham City Wednesday Night League!! The Logan course has been removed and the Logan club (Cache Valley Disc Drivers) is running a league on Wednesday night at John Adams park in Brigham City. Its $5 a week to play and we hand cash out every week. We have a CTP every week too and play 18 holes. One normal layout and one alternate tee pad layout. See ya there!

We got some of the tee pads up top fixed and some chips spreed out. we got benches around the practice basket . The pads still some minor tweaking but they are allot better than they where. Thanks to all those that turned out to help. We will do it again next Saturday at 10:00.

A couple of us are going to be working on the course Saturday at 10:00. We are going to be working on tee pads, baskets, clearing some areas behind hole 10 for some new holes, and whatever else we can think of. Actually every Saturday till the Riverpark open someone will be working on the course. I am going to say 10:00 is the official start time. We should be done in time for the tag round at 1:00. DGA has some really great resources for disc golf promotion as well. I'm no good at powerpoint, but I would love to be involved in any way I can, and that goes for ANY disc golf promotion anywhere. Let's meet up asap and pool our resources. Maybe tomorrow. Any takers?

I would be happy to help. I know the PDGA has a DVD available just for this sort of thing. It shows a lot of the benefits and stats of disc golf, its designed as a tool to help get new courses. I will call the PDGA office tonight and request a copy. I don't have any experience with power point, but I do OK speaking in front of people, as long as its about disc golf:)

OK folk. Ogden city has put us on their agenda for 25 May. I didn’t ask them to do that, but can anyone put together a presentation before then? In June they are having budget meetings all month and I am thinking we need to see them before their budget meetings. Who knows, maybe they can work us into their next budget. Probably not, but it could happen, who knows. The next time we could get in would be in July. I know we can get something done by then. I know I can’t get anything done by the 25th.

I wrote an email to Ogden city about getting another course in Ogden, and one of the city council members seems interested so far, but we need to get on the city council meeting agenda which we can do, but we need the below for the meeting. The below is what the councilmen asked for. Is anyone a PowerPoint expert out there that could put this together? I could probably do it, but it would take me forever to get it done. The city will not be able to mow till Tuesday, but we can still work on the course Saturday and Sunday at 10:00 am. Some folks will be out there earlier than 10:00 if you want to come out then. I think 9:00ish not sure. Those who would like to help are welcome. Last chance before RPO.
