A couple of things. The Logan course is still going in, but I don't think it will happen for at least a month. I don't mind setting up a temp course where the course will be going as a preview and holding the tournament there, but I would need to make sure its ok with the city first. Tell me if thats what you want to do ASAP and I will get the OK. Also, when is the Huctoberfest tourny this year? JZ wanted some sponsorship help but I can't find the date.

Hey NUDGAs. I could really use a few guys to help lay sod at my house tomorrow at 430. Free beer, and a Brigham round right after. We can bust it out in an hour flat. Thanks fellas....hit me up if you can make it. 801-645-1765.

Doubles is my favorite way to play. It allows someone who is still trying to learn and improve their game an opportunity to play with players who are better than they are, and learn from them. I think the changes that have been made allowing all skill levels an opportunity to contribute to the partnership have been good. Unfortunately with my work schedule I am unable to play regularly. But still try to play every time I can.

we are having less and less people at are doubles, do we still want to do it or should we do singles, remember you dont have to pay 10 dollars, its 6 to play you have a choice. let me know what you think.

EYES on the PRIZE update..... Wow NUDGA, we have done a great job raising money, but we still need more baskets. Thanks Brady and Josh for heading up the last tournament in Riverdale. we raised close to $1,000! Currently, we are focusing on the 2010 Disc Chick challenge on Sept 11. Unfortunaley, we will not be playing an eyes on the prize event this weekend. The club can only afford to invest in one tournament at a time. We are waiting to hear about the completion of the new Logan disc go ... more

I called their campus security and was told that it was open to the public.
Apparently, it was a recent community service project.

And if they close it to just staff, I'll have to dig out my old ATC shirt. lol

Just played the new course at OWATC. It's a 5-hole course and has been open to the public since last Friday (according to a groundskeeper I talked to). The teepads are painted red; the first tee has a red flag on it and it's near the sidewalk in the northeast corner of the area. The first hole is due west of that teepad and quite a ways away. The first three holes are fairly long and wind can be a factor. #4 is short and #5 is kinda tricky through some trees and over water. I thought it was fun and I lay claim to the handicapped course record of neg 1. lol
