Hey Chris, didn't you guys KILL it and take 1st place? Maybe harassment is what you needed. Just kidding! I will have to agree with you on a lot of that, seems kinda gradeschool'ish. I apologize if I said something to offend you.
Derek Yanez February 28, 2011 at 11:57am

Rod
Thanks for running another great event. Lots of people are going to complain, but even more people had a great time and a charity got some food and $ because of your efforts. Major props to all who organize and run events...

I apologize for the confusion at the time of the payouts, I thought we had it figured out. Whoever said those things should have had enough balls to stick around and come to me after wards, I would have made it right. I always do. If any one wants to step up and try running a tournament, be my guest. It's one of the most stressful things you'll ever do and the only possible reward is for everyone to be happy with the results. (which never happens, by the way) I'm not perfect!!!
Rick Wardell February 27, 2011 at 9:06pm
I had a big ol thing written out in response to the below crap, but its not worth it. Maybe later?
Excellent job once again on the Ice Bowl Rod. Thanks to Dave Eky, and Chris Silvester for shoveling off all of the Tee Pads prior to start, and Big Jim for being the mulligan man also. Nice work boys !!!!
Kent Holsten February 27, 2011 at 6:19pm
I can guarantee you that nothing shady was going on at the ice bowl Derek. I can also guarantee that there was no favoritism. The payout was pretty good for a charity fundraiser, If someone did not get paid it was not intentional. We had alot of ties in every division almost and we tried to see that everyone got the prizes they deserved. I am personally offended that you feel like we would do something like that.

I was gonna make it to the Riverdale Ice Bowl, but I can't even get out of my driveway. Props to all who are braving the snow and playing in this one!
I just received 4 more entry forms for the Creekside Open. I'm guessing the Creekside Open will fill up by April 1st, so get your entry forms in ASAP.
