Sundays are good, vbut I worry that people will be out of town a lot. Also many of the tournaments would take up our league day. Maybe we would have a more consistant showing if it was durring the week.

throwing an idea around about running a league at riverpark on sunday around 5pm. . the idea would much like the league brandon runs up in bc (if you havent played the bc league you are missing out). we would play one round with ctps and an optional birdie and ace pot. 5 dollars to play 1 dollar for each ace and birdie pot. does this sound fun to any one else? does the time and cost work for everyone?

Major Props to my bro Rod. Now its time for him to enjoy tournaments without all the stress, but I can guarantee he will still be a big help to the td's that are running tournys if needed. I also think Brandon is an awesome replacement, He has done so much for disc golf in this area and we are lucky to have him here in Utah. I played in the first tournament he did at the fairgrounds and it was a blast.

I’m going to give Rod a done good on all of his tourney’s. Had a great time at all of them. Sad to see you resign but I understand completely. I have helped Rod on many occasions and will continue to assist any way I can with whomever steps up to take over. I have submitted the City special event permit that they require and would be happy to keep submitting them for any T.D.s . although they are not that difficult just a little time consuming. I have submitted the City special event permit that they require and would be happy to keep submitting them for any T.D.s . although they are not that difficult just a little time consuming. Someone will need to acquire the insurance required by the permit from a company for non PDGA tournaments. I have a local company that will provide insurance but I don’t know what the cost is yet. I have the insurance form but have not submitted it to see what it would cost. They need dates and such that I don’t have. They did say if we could provide dates for the year it would be cheeper/less processing for them. PDGA insurance is $50. The city also requires $100 special event permit processing fee. It takes 21 days to process the permit. Don’t know what the fine is for not having the permit. Could be cheaper, who knows. If you don’t get a permit, you’re on your own. Everyone I have talked to at the City from secretaries up to the Mayor seem to be very happy with NUDGA, what we have done, and I would like to keep it that way. I would suggest that if we don’t get the permit, don’t hang signs for tournaments at Riverdale on the course.

Thanks for all you've done, Rod. The tourneys you've run have been some of the most fun I've had playing disc. If I could chime in on Brandon's offer I would just like everyone who hasn't met him to know that he does a great job. Always a good attitude, super organized, and I think we would be lucky to have him running events.

I am available for tournament directing and would love to pick up where Rod left off with NUDGA's help...if you'll have me. I am currently working on a temporary course venue at Cache Valley Fairgrounds that will hold a Friday Nightmare Tournament and a Saturday 36 hole PDGA tournament. That will be in October (maybe Huktoberfest?) Its a great venue because we reserve the entire fairgrounds and let you bring your tents and RV's right onto the course for camping. It should be a two day fiesta with your help.

Also, I am working on a new course in North Ogden at the Business Depot. Rob was working on this course awhile back and am picking up where he left off. I am hoping to move my Brigham City league there next year and run a PDGA B-Tier event there as well.

I hope not to step on anyone toes. If I am, let me know. I am just excited to be back in the game after a stressful first year in Utah! You guys rock!

We will be holding a fundraising tournament July 30th at Rock Creek Park,for more tee-pads, it will be 2 rounds of 18 holes.$25 for all divisions and it will be 50% payout and 50% fundraising.Check-ins 8am to 9:30 Players meeting,round 1 at 10 then a lunch break round 2 to follow.Any Questions contact T.D. I'm putting a call out to any NUDGA who has a 2007 ace race disc (the Impact not the Nebula), I finally lost the one I've been throwing for four years in the swamp on fifteen. I would prefer to trade cause I'm broke as poop but I can afford to buy one or two off someone. I know a lot of people didn't really like that disc so hopefully we still have some floating around. Help me out guys, thanks!
