I was just filling out the sanctioning info for Huktoberfest and was thinking how much funner it would be to have the event as a two day PDGA event with a night tournament on Saturday night between the rounds rather than a Friday night tournament and a PDGA event on just Saturday. I have been going back and forth so I thought I would put it to a vote. Let me know what you think by Tuesday and whatever gets the most votes wins.

If any of you are wanting to play Bengal Ridge up in Pocatello this year there is a 36 hole tournament on September 10th being held there that is run by me. My brother is also is helping out and says he has been working hard on adding cash and prizes so it should be worth the trip. You can find more info on it at pvdgc.org.

Local Riverdale boy, Nelson Shivel changed out all the old tee signs on holes one through eighteen for an eagle scout project. He did a great job and he plays disc golf at riverpark all the time. The signs have all the distances for all tee pads and different basket locations. Thanks to Brodey Hansen for surveying all the holes. I told Nelson we would make him an honorary member of NUDGA for his efforts. I don't know if we should try and do this at a city council meeting or at a scout meeting, any thoughts?

Ace Race is September 24th at 9:00 am. The players packs include 2 new proto-type discs, a putter this year. Kind of a beefier challenger. They also include a small disc bag that holds 6-8 discs, a hat, and a mini. Entry as always is $25. Registration as of now is through me. I'll let you know if I can get something set up online. For now get a hold of me at [email disguise] or send me a msg on the scene.

Think of this in your best Monster Truck announcer voice: "Thursday, Thursday Thursday! Come to Solitude Thursday to play a round, register for Full Throttle, & see what 5,000 discs look like!" We will still be there Thursday but the hours have changed. We will be there starting at high noon. The set up will be down at the bottom to the left of hole 18. Come check out some plastic, or just say "hi." Oh and for the Nudga's that are Bolt fans, we have 5 left. Thanks & see you there!

All right, Full Throttle at Solitude is this weekend. We will be up there with the entire stash on Thursday. We've got a lot more than what we had at the Riverpark Open. We will be up there from 10am to 6pm (or longer if needed). Come play a round on Thursday before the tourney and check out what close to 5000 discs looks like. Biggest selection in Utah with the best prices. Call if you want us to hold anything for you. 801-820-7750.
