How do we go about getting our tag if we don't play in the league/tag round sunday

We got the new tags in and we have 100 of them ready to distribute. We are going to have a tag round on Sunday Jan 22 to distribute the first batch of them. That's this Sunday at the League round @ 1:00 PM. If you don't want to play the league round you can still play for the #1 tag as long as you pay and play when the league/tag round starts. Kent will be taking memberships/tags prior to the start of the round. Brady will be running the league round. Tag to be distributed after the tag/league r ... more

Just a heads up, there is a winter tournament at Lava Hot Springs on February 4th. Its sponsored by the Hot Springs and the Lava Hot Springs Inn. In your player's pack you get a hot pools pass among other stuff. There will be overnight stays and ski passes and such in the prize pile. This years bag tags should be here somewhere around the week of the 23rd of Jan. We went with a different company this year but they are metal tags again so they are pretty durable. All one color this year but we got a better price. Tags are issued to all members when they renew membership for 15.00 and new members for 20.00. In years past we have tried to give back to members with discs or weighted minis with Nudga logo. Last year we were going to try something else like water bottles with logo ... more

Just wanted to say one more thing. What Mook was saying was absolutely correct as far as getting more tournaments, new courses, Nonprofit, etc, etc going. I think what we need is to have committees to get these kinds of things done. The board can’t do it all. We need other folks to step up and run these things in coordination with NUDGA. You couldn't have said it better Kent! Go NUDGA!! I thank all of you who take the leadership role on helping improve our courses and club. Me personally am very appreciatitive of that so thanks to all who help make this the best damn disc golf club in the world!

I think NUDGA has many Presidents and several leaders. We all look forward Brandons help in promoting disc golf and his fun tournaments, We need his help and leadership. We also need to give props to Stu Jensen for stepping up big time for the club. Rod, Brady, Brodey, JZ and everyone else than runs tournaments, leagues and fundraisers. You are all Presidents..

You have 100% of my support. I have been trying to get a mtg together this month. From what I am hearing, Sat or Sun nights will work for almost everybody that wants to be involved. I think if you were to call a meeting time and place the support you require will be there.

I was presented with an idea for Creekside Park and maybe it might be effective at other courses. Assign people (or tag numbers) to certain holes to maintain the up-keep on holes.

Aww shucks. Thanks guys (and gal). Maybe we could get a meeting together with those who can and want to get going this year and see if this is really the direction we want to go. I would like to hear from the old faithful's to see what they would like to see happen as well. I just don't want to step on anyone's toes. If I do lead this club, don't expect me to run everything. First come 1st serve when membership due paid to mr holston. He usually packs a few in his bag for those who cross his path at the course and wish to join up or renew
