I called their campus security and was told that it was open to the public.

Apparently, it was a recent community service project.

And if they close it to just staff, I'll have to dig out my old ATC shirt. lol

Just played the new course at OWATC. It's a 5-hole course and has been open to the public since last Friday (according to a groundskeeper I talked to). The teepads are painted red; the first tee has a red flag on it and it's near the sidewalk in the northeast corner of the area. The first hole is due west of that teepad and quite a ways away. The first three holes are fairly long and wind can be a factor. #4 is short and #5 is kinda tricky through some trees and over water. I thought it was fun and I lay claim to the handicapped course record of neg 1. lol

Just an FYI for yawl. The Cotton laying around the course is very flammable. A kid playing disc golf Tuesday lit some on hole 7, you will see it. Had to call the fire department. They sent two small trucks, and got it out pretty quick, but I guess that stuff goes up fast. The firemen said if that would have happened next month it would have been allot worse. We will need to be extra careful with open flames, and smoking this year. With all of the people playing now, and the amount of weeds out t ... more

I was just informed that Jon Lyksett is not planning on running the Soda Springs Summer Fling this year. I was asked by the PVDGC to help run it. This is late notice! We are still doing it on July 24th, but wanted to petition the clubs in the area for sponsorship so we can keep it PDGA.

Brady placed an order today from Discraft for the next eyes on the prize event this Saturday in Brigham City. Don't miss out on another great NUDGA event. We will also have discs from previous events for sale. We only have 8 more baskets to go, lets play some golf, have some fun and raise some money.

With all of the clubs that are developing in Utah, I felt the need to have a "non-denominational" website for disc golf in Utah. So I developed DiscGolfUtah.net. It's not meant to replace any club's website, but to be a central location with links to all of the other clubs, courses and events in Utah. Let me know what you think!

Whew, it's finally over!! (except for the PDGA red tape) Thanks to everyone who played, and a special big thanks to those of you (you know who you are) who poured your hearts into making it happen. I feel it was a successful event and I attribute a lot of that to you guys that helped because that gave me more time to concentrate on making things right. Please be patient with me about getting results posted on PDGA, it's really quite a chore to get it right so that the ratings are correct.P.S. Does anyone know why my green fold-up chair got destroyed??
