This sounds great! I am looking forward to getting back involved, but even more excited about playing more awesome events brought to you by NUDGA. I am totally supportive of your ideas Brandon.

Aww shucks. Thanks guys (and gal). Maybe we could get a meeting together with those who can and want to get going this year and see if this is really the direction we want to go. I would like to hear from the old faithful's to see what they would like to see happen as well. I just don't want to step on anyone's toes. If I do lead this club, don't expect me to run everything. If I do lead this club, don't expect me to run everything. There is still a ton of help needed. We will still need people to continue to run tournaments and leagues. We will need someone in charge of bag tags. Kent certainly can still take care of finances. We need someone to do something anything with the website. We need someone to take care of the course maintenance. Rick would be a good city liaison. Any other suggestions?

Mook is legit, have my vote, and I agree with everything you said mook.
Lisa Alexander January 4, 2012 at 12:45pm
I vote yes but I will be honest, I do not know who Mook is but I have read what some guys are saying about him and it sounds like he is the man!
Daniel Phister January 3, 2012 at 10:11pm
There at least 10's of people I would follow to the end of the world. Mook, your one of the 10's! NUDGA to the end!

Hey NUDGA'S! I am pumped up for 2012, even if it will be the end of the world, lets go out with a bang! I don't know where else to post this, so here we go. First, I think there should be an organized leadership in NUDGA. The way things are ran now is if someone wants to run something its up to them individually. First, I think there should be an organized leadership in NUDGA. The way things are ran now is if someone wants to run something its up to them individually. The guys who do run things are awesome and thank you, but there is no real NUDGA schedule of events. There needs to be organization overseeing who and how and when events are run. For example, I would like to help out and run some events this year but am not sure what is happening in Northern Utah. I want to continue running Huktoberfest. In addition, I wouldn't mind also either running Riverpark Open or helping to run a series of tournaments similar to the "Eyez On The Prize" series that was run in 2010 (and 2009?). I ran a series like this in Idaho last year and would much rather do it closer to home.
Also, there is great potential for new courses in our area. I would like to help us get some more courses. If you know of any areas or parks that would be good disc golf potential from Bountiful to Idaho, let me know! I have a ton of experience dealing with cities and universities in proposing disc golf courses. A good NUDGA leadership would help follow a proposal through from beginning to end.
I was playing a tag round yesterday and didn't really understand why. Is there some point during the season that we get a reward for the tags we have?
NUDGA has always been great to work with ever since I lived in Idaho. I really do love you guys and am not trying to bag NUDGA in any way. I just have a fire in my belly and want to help get NUDGA up to its potential.

Thank you to everybody that showed up yesterday. We reached our goal of $600. We payed out $260 to the open players. And donated $421 to JZ for the farm. We could not have done this with out all of you and the support from NUDGA.

BABY NEWTON charity event this SUNDAY 1 oclock!!!
We have come up with a challenging but fun layout for this event! Brady is bringing the Sunday League ACE pot, wich is up to around $200! Dont forget to bring something special to donate to the payout. Josh is donating about 20 of his own disc, so please help make the payout even better. Thanks NUDGA!!

Hey everyone, Todd is coming into town this weekend, so if you happen to have any duplicate stamps from any NUDGA tournament that Todd did the artwork for, and you are willing to part with it, please kick him down a disc. We have been fortunate to have such talent in our club, share the love! P.S. NUDGA RULES!!!!!
