Dont forget Aug 24 is the deadline to register for the State Championship. After that date your berth will no longer be honored. Remind your friends.

The baskets are in at Odyssey. Thanks to everyone who helped me put this together! The course is playing nicely. I will be out there all summer long doing maintenance and getting the alt tee pads in.

Just 9 holes at Odyssey course. Sorry it's taken me a while to get back to you, I was in saginaw for a funeral.

Jon, is it a 9 or 18 hole course?

Craig, I would just like a nice sturdy lock so no one can take the basket. I have found that you can get three packs of same keyed locks for around 22-25 dollars.

Jon, do you have a specific padlock model in mind? How much are they?

Hey, if anyone would be willing to buy and donate padlocks to the Odyssey course, I'd appreciate it. We're running tight on money. I'd like to get these baskets in by May 1st, but I don't want them to walk off. Please pass the word along.

I've had a few people show some interest in trying/playing Ultimate. There is a pretty laid-back group that plays at Finch Fieldhouse most Mondays (including tonight) at 7pm. Don't worry about not knowing the rules - it's easy. Run, catch, throw, rinse and repeat. Maybe I'll see some new faces tonight...

Hey not sure if anyone can help me. I Lost one of my ultimate go to discs out at Dearfield a week ago monday it is a super bright yellow/green Star Sidewinder willing to offer 15 to get it back, though the cost is almost enough to buy one that one flys just how i need it.. I am even willing to buy brand new star sidewinder to trade to get it back. it is named and ha my phone number on it. there is a faded name of Arron on it as well but my number is 231 750 5739 the disc means a great deal.. thanks...

Hey Guys, I am hosting the disc golf state tournament at deerfield. We're doing one round from the shorts at 10am on October 14th.. Wondering if you were available to golf with a group of students to help show them the way around the course. I don't want kids getting lost. I will have a prize for the volunteer who shoots the best score.

Hey I own a company that has developed a product to restore the look of discs but we need to do a little research and discover if the flight pattern is affected. To kill two birds with one stone we are going to allow local disc golfers to get the first chance to test it out free and give us feed back. If you are interested shoot me a text with what type of disc you are bringing and who you are and when you are available 989-600-8124

Thanks for getting at me so quick Craig! I move back in a couple weeks and then you will see me all over the courses hahaha. I'm sure once school starts back up, they will keep the course nice again. I heard that it gets pretty rough during the summer. I'll be hitting up every event you guys have once i am there! You'll have to introduce me to some of the guys and fill me in on how DG goes in Mt. P.

Hey Terry! Welcome back to Mt P. Look us up when you hit town. We have draw doubles every Saturday at our "new" course in Deerfield Park and we used to have Tuesday doubles at CMU (back in the day when they actually mowed). Right now, Tuesdays are also at Deerfield which is just fine with me. It's 10 miles further for me but it's also 10 times the course. We'll be throwing an Ace Race this fall and our 3rd annual Frigid Doe Ice Bowl this winter once we decide which day will be the coldest possible. It will be good to have another avid golfer in town.

Hey All,

I have a blue Innova Skill-Shot basket (brand new, still in the box) for sale. I also have a brand new, never been used, still in the plastic bag, red Innova Discarrier Bag for sale. I am willing to sell these for less than retail, I’m thinking $90 for the basket and $65 for the bag. (Both are great deals as the basket goes for about $120 retail and the bag for about $80 retail.) Anyway, thought I’d offer them up on the Scene before going to Ebay. If you’re interested please let me know and we’ll work something out.

Thanks – Josh Taylor
