The list of qualified players is almost complete up to the tournaments that have already happened from late May 2012 through the beginning of March 2013. The list of qualified players does not represent those who have registered. Registration for the 2013 USADGC will soon be open as well.

The 2013 DGLO will not be accepting any cashless registrations. There are 144 spots available for the A Tier Amateur event at Hudson Mills and another 144 spots available for the Pro NT at the Toboggan. Jump on in, the water is warm :-) ! Hope to see you all there...

Here is some clarity on the 2013 USADGC. There will soon be a list of official Qualifiers published on the USADGC website. What used to read all A and B Tiers now reads: This list will be completed as soon as possible. However, you can quickly determine whether or not you have already qualified, or make plans to attend an event where you have an opportunity to do so. Most PDGA Amateur singles events sanctioned B-tier and above between the dates of May 25, 2012 and May 19, 2013 are USADGC q ... more

Sign Our Online Petition!
http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/kalamazoo-disc-golf-development-project/
Sign our online petition to show your support for the renovation of Knollwood and the creation of brand new courses in Kalamazoo. Signatures from golfers living anywhere will be appreciated as it will show the City Commission that interest in disc golf extends far beyond the golfers in Kalamazoo alone.
This petition will be shown to the Kalamazoo City Commission at the end of the year and will hopefully lead toward a much bigger professional and amateur disc golf culture in the city!

It looks like I will be heading there on Sunday. I've been talking with the DNR rep, Joe Hall for a while now. I've also been to the Park before, it will be a fantastic property for a course.

I guess Todd Wiley has my request covered.

Attention MDGO members: our up state brethren are in need of some experienced disc golfers to critique/play their course design before committing to tee pads. The park is east of Gaylord and camping is being offered to those who help. I would do it myself, but between Bertha Brock, Ionia State Rec and my busy life, I don't have the time. They have 9 holes laid out with a plan to expand to 72! Please let me know if your able to help and I'll put you in contact with those who are reaching out for our help.

There are reasons to keep it a B Tier. Players MUST be a PDGA member to play in an A Tier for one reason. I am sure there is a good number of people that play every year that are not a current member of the PDGA. Secondly, the PDGA will also collect $1 more dollar from each player (it is $4 for an A-tier per player) so for example, that would be nearly $100 from the pro payouts. Lastly, you request a date from the PDGA for a date for an A Tier and then they give you one. If the MDGO d ... more

No Joe this is not the state finals discussion board either. Casey was simply advertising the Meijer State Games which is adding Disc Golf as an Olympic event. Her Club is the club hosting the event but if you read the flyer, the club who has the most people represented will get a free chainstar basket...And East Kentwood high school is where the opening ceremonies will be held the 2 days of playing will be at Brewer Park in Grand Rapids. Hope that clears it up for ya.

The State finals moved from Ludington to East Kentwood High School? Is alcohol permitted at East Kentwood High School? I bet the venue moved related to the banishment of booze on Gus Macker weekends.
