Every club, tournament and league now has a discussion board.
You can find the full collection of boards for every event a particular Club hosts on that Club's main page.

Hey guys, I added Indy Lake to www.discgolfcoursereview.com and www.pdga.com. I don't know the length/hole count etc. if someone wants to update those and write a better description.

Friday morning the 1st of May, I need help going to Discraft to get baskets, put the baskets together, place the baskets, and put finishing touches on the Chuck D Memorial Course at Independence. I will also need help taking the course out of the ground Saturday evening immediately after the tournament. This includes taking the baskets apart. If it sounds like work, then I have described this correctly. Call me 734-272-2441. A crescent wrench and socket set will help.

I just played the Chuck D Memorial course, and the picnic course for the last time this morning. It was a beautiful morning with no wind, and plenty of sunshine. I enjoyed great company, a generally relaxing round although when you are playing against Pat B you can never really relax. A morning like this was only made possible today by the efforts of people like Josh Romine, Scott White, and the entire 101 organization for everything they've done to make these courses possible. On behalf of myself, and all of my friends who have had the pleasure to play these courses I would like to give a big thanks to 101. Thank you guys!

Chuck D Course Update:
I met with Brian and Bill at Indy Lake and here is the story: We have most of the holes approved and the park has been working hard at clearing out a lot of the autumn olive trees. We will not use any of these envasive plants as part of the course design.
We had some bad luck with the weather though, and it will push out the course installation towards the end of summer. Holes 15-18 will not be able to go in until contractors come in to remove a bunch of concrete piles. The contractors cannot come in until the area dries up. It was just getting dry and we got 4" of rain on Friday, se we are wet again.
We also have to tweak a few of the holes once we find out where the new road will go in. The park will eventually re-route the main park entrance and it will run on the east side of the Chuck D course. So this will essentially be the outer limit we have to design to, and we don't know for sure where the road will go. We also have some plans for walkways, a few raised teepads and more trees need to be cleared. So that all adds up to push out the basket installation. We originally hoped this would be as easy as the picnic course but it is not. However I do believe in the end all of this extra effort will be worth it.
I will post up future work days, of which we will need a few. I think best case is the park comes back with a road location, the wet area dries up so the contractors can clear and we sink the baskets by late July. The weather is the biggest factor in all of this though. Stay tuned.

And the Picnic Course will go back in the ground October 18th.. :)

It's good to hear that the Chuck D course is coming along. Is it going to be a one-shot installation, or are there plans to put in a few holes here and there as we go along?

"The Unicorn"
Joe Monteith › September 17, 2009 at 11:04am
How about: 'The Mad Phatter' in honor of one of Chuck's favorite expressions used to describe things that are dope such as "mad phat beats" or "wow, this course is mad phat". Either way i think it should still have some tie to Chuck. Scotty - Drop a line to Eddie and Ian to see if they have any insight
Mike Fortunato › September 17, 2009 at 11:09am
How about 'Liberty' or perhaps 'The Unicorn'....wait....dammit Pete!!!
Mike Fortunato › September 17, 2009 at 11:11am
Good news though. The park has expressed interest in a plaque in honor of Chuck D.
Daemon Stahlin › September 17, 2009 at 11:27am

Mike Fortunato › September 17, 2009 at 11:49am
I like Mad Phatter. It will be on the list. My guess is that the county will never go for it.
