Rooster. We are trying to name the NEW course at Indy, not the 'Picnic' course. There needs to be a distinction.

rogue's den?

what because i speak the truth? no one calls lakeshore by, "the ponds". now if there were two courses installed at all time(hudson for example) it would be a different story. no one ever asks, "what did you shoot at the picnic course?" its always called indy. sorry if the truth hurt your feelings deamon. you want a cookie?

rooster you're an idiot
Andy Bawol September 17, 2009 at 11:52pm
come up with what you will everyone is going to call it independence lake or some iteration of that, (IE indy, indy lake, windy lake, et al.)
Joe Arnet September 17, 2009 at 11:50pm
Is indy lake in webster township? if it is, just call it the webster course, they will go for that. I know i'll always call it the chuck d course, just like brown will always be brown. I will try to think of something more original... but i kinda like webster.

I like Mad Phatter. But if not that, I am pretty sure I walked into a patch of stinging nettles which I don't advise doing with shorts on so I say "Stinging Nettle(s)". BTW, per wikipedia, another name for the stinging nettle is "burn weed". Wikipedia has a good photo, it wouldn't look bad on a disc.

regardless of the official name, it will always be "the unicorn" to me.

Or maybe the Indy L.O.L :-)'s? That could work, right?
Jesse Cahill September 17, 2009 at 8:56pm
The "Declaration"... @ Independence Lake

How bout the Indy intermediate's?
Joe Anttila September 17, 2009 at 8:16pm
And of course if 'Mad Phatter' is chosen it leaves great opportunity for beer sponsorship or at least course beer recommendation. I'm a Phan.

The mad hatter does hang out in... Wonderland. That might be more palatable for a park.
Wonderland

I like Mad Phatter. It will be on the list. My guess is that the county will never go for it.
Scott White September 17, 2009 at 7:37pm
Mad Phatter is saweet, I like
Daemon Stahlin September 17, 2009 at 7:27pm
1 vote for mad phatter, or at least mad hatter if the park is still shooting down great ideas. also, yes please consult the drukiseses.

i know. i can see how i worded that poorly. either way. when a distinction needs to be made, i will call it the Chuck D. course. but gererally, for most of the year, there will not be a need to question what course was played, and most will call it indy lake.
