CLUB NEWS **PLEASE READ**

First off i would like to say thanks to everyone who has been able to make it out even if it was just a few times for league. The turnouts have been much better than the last league and its all thanks to you guys. Spreading the word is a lot easier than people perceive. First off i would like to say thanks to everyone who has been able to make it out even if it was just a few times for league. The turnouts have been much better than the last league and its all thanks to you guys. Spreading the word is a lot easier than people perceive. If you know of anyone that would like to play in the mini-tournament then please please please let me or Adam know. I would really like to see at the very least 20 people playing, thats right 20. We already know of at least 10 that will make it and i have a couple other people i can talk to so please let your buddies know, it doesn't matter if they're rec, advanced, or open. We will have 3 divisions (if we have the right amount of players) so it will be much more fair. It will be $20 for intermediate and advanced and $15 for rec.Also if you have the club on your page as a favorite you are aloud to play i just need to know if you can make it. Everyone will be receiving a disc and im trying to make sure we can do lunch. I HAVE to know roughly how many people we will have at least 5 days before the tourney so i can plan around it. Once again thanks to everyone and lets finish the league strong. Good luck and see you at BB Owens on Tuesday.

Todays round will be at the lake at 11:00am. Rain or shine. If conditions are too bad we will reschedule the round but once again i do not think we will have to worry about it. Bring a jacket. See you there!!!!

First day of spring league next week!!!!!

Just like the fall league we will have the spring league on Tuesdays at 11:00am. The first round will be at L.L Woods next Tuesday the 15th. Same course lay out. L.L Woods will start us off then the lake and then an out of town course. We will try and keep the out of town courses within a reasonable distance. This league will consist of a $5 pay in with $1 of which will go towards the ace pot. You CAN play without paying the $5 but you will not be able to win anything. If you have ANY questions ... more

Tomorrow is the last day of our first LEAGUE!!!!

Tomorrow will consist of a $5 entry fee and will be played through two rounds. The first round will start at LL Woods at 9am and then follow by lunch then the second round. I would like to thank everyone who could make it out and enjoy some fun discing. Good luck tomorrow and we will see you on the course.

Club Birthing - " It's Alive!!"

Tyler, myself and others have been discussing this club for a while, what we'd like to see, how to make this respectable and attractive to others. I'm glad we're actually making moves and taking our baby steps. It stays alive because of ppl like you reading this. It fails when ppl lose their motivation to make this club successful. We'll do our best to keep it afloat and stay active. Anyhoo, we posted partial scores from this week's minis to give members an idea of what to expect. Our club ... more

Our club goal over the next few months is to increase our membership through local minis and this site. Please tell your fellow discgolfers, spread the word. We will be collecting names, pdga #'s and emails in this effort throughout each mini. Each TD will be responsible for collecting this information, adding player names to our leagues, and posting scores on this site. More members of course means bigger payouts, duh,,,, so let's roll. Our future goal is to make this club more official in 2011, requiring an annual paid membership, which will give us the opportunity to have Bag Tags, Tournaments, League Trophies, and do a little fundraising for improving the 2 courses which we play. Thanks to "Shanko", we've finally arrived, and look forward to being the premier club in the DFW area. Happy Hucking!!!

League play starts in 2 weeks

So we have enough people to start the league the only thing we need now is everyone's availability so we can figure out the best playing times. Please keep in mind that there will be two separate leagues being the singles and random draw doubles. So if you can't make one hopefully you can make the other. So far i think the best days and times are Tuesdays for singles at 10:00am and then doubles on Saturdays at 12:00pm. Please let me know if this would be good for you.

New Club (Lewisville Disc Golf Club)

Just trying to see if i can't get a club/league going. I've been looking for a club here in Lewisville and have yet to find one. I'm hoping to start a singles and random draw doubles league on mondays and thursdays. Please join so we can get this going.
