Hey. I made a Facebook page for the group. This way we can keep track of photos and current/past members easier.
Josh, I'd like if you could type something up for the INFO section. I BS'd one, but it could use something more formal.
Mitchell, I'm not sure how you are keeping track of money, but we can add ads to generate a tiny chunk of change for the clubs accounts.
If anyone has some graphic design experience, it would be awesome if you could make a cover photo for the page.
Check it out and let me know what I can do to improve it?

Yeah, just saw that after I posted. I figured that we couldn't just put ads on the page, but if we had a paypal or something people could donate too that would be awesome.

Is it legal though? Haha

Mitchell Brenn   February 12, 2013 at 11:05am

Lol thats a good question. Yeah I'm still waiting on Brice to get me the financial info, so I'll let everyone know what we can and can't do when I find out.

Josh Carroll    February 11, 2013 at 9:15pm

Hey everybody, I'd like to get in a Q-round this Wednesday if anybody's free. 3:00 PM at either Fairmont or Warner

Is anybody free tomorrow morning for a Qualifying Tryout round? I'd like to hit up Fairmont by 9:45 or 10 AM for 18 holes. Need at least two others. Let me know if you're interested.

So, basically 9 rounds and then use the average? Sounds good. Can we use league rounds?

Travis Bailey   February 7, 2013 at 8:15pm

I won't be able to play that early, but Ben and I are playing Fairmont at 3:30 or 4.

Josh Carroll   February 7, 2013 at 10:15pm

Shoot, I'm only free in the morning. I work from 1:30-5:30. You can use any SINGLES rounds (so no K-State doubles) and you must have at least 3 people in your group to confirm your score. I'll then need everybody in that group to sign the scorecard and have somebody turn in the scorecard to me. Any takers on a Q-round at Fairmont tomorrow at 10?

Ben Nispel    February 7, 2013 at 12:56am

Travis, Mitch and I will be at Warner around 4 today if anyone else would like to join!

Be careful, it's pretty muddy up there :P Is this a tryout-qualifier round?

Jacob Wilson   February 6, 2013 at 3:28pm

I'll be around those parts at around that tine

Ben Nispel   February 6, 2013 at 4:31pm

Probably not for me at least, haven't played Warner for a bit so I want to get some practice in before I start recording scores hah. We'll see you up there Jacob!

Ben Nispel    February 2, 2013 at 1:00am

I'll be out of town this weekend, but starting next Monday I'm free everyday after 1:20. Shoot me a text anytime you guys wanna get a round in 316-452-1627

Hey everybody! Hope you all had a great winter break. To kick off the spring semester, the Office of Student Activities and Services is hosting a clubs & activities fair in the student union. This is a great opportunity to recruit new members. I need about 3-4 members to help represent our club. Here are the details:

WHAT: OSAS Club & Activites Fair
WHEN: Thursday, January 24th, 6-8 PM
WHERE: KSU Student Union (Courtyard - Lower Level)

I will be there to begin setting up around 5:30 PM. Thanks!

If you still need people, I'm available.

Josh Carroll   January 23, 2013 at 11:34pm

That would be great! Feel free to bring t-shirts, discs, or bags to display at our table.

Last K-State Doubles round of the semester tomorrow! Fairmont Park, 1:30 PM. We will be following the university calendar so there will be no scheduled league rounds December 15th - January 19th.

===== SCHEDULE ALERT =====
Due to the change in daylight hours, we are in need of a different time to host Doubles League. I meant to meet up with all of you, but this might be faster. I have proposed the following: SATURDAYS @ 1:30 PM. Let me know if this works for you. If you have another suggested time, feel free to comment.

Shout out to Josh for his excellent segment in tonight's presentation to the Parks & Recreation Board. You made some very compelling points from a Students perspective! I'm sure we will revisit these items as we proceed. Plus, a shout out to all the other K-State Disc Golf Club members who were in attendance. Your continued support will be needed to make sure Phase II becomes a reality.

Thanks a bunch guys for showing up to the Parks & Rec advisory meeting! It means a lot and demonstrates the commitment that us disc golfers possess. Hats off to everybody involved in the Warner Park Phase II effort.

Josh,
That is really interesting. How cool is that for the K-State disc golf club... a recruiting tool!

Please be sure to work that in during your time at the podium at Monday night's Park's & Recreation Advisory Board meeting.
