Hey everybody! Hope you all had a great winter break. To kick off the spring semester, the Office of Student Activities and Services is hosting a clubs & activities fair in the student union. This is a great opportunity to recruit new members. I need about 3-4 members to help represent our club. Here are the details:
WHAT: OSAS Club & Activites Fair
WHEN: Thursday, January 24th, 6-8 PM
WHERE: KSU Student Union (Courtyard - Lower Level)
I will be there to begin setting up around 5:30 PM. Thanks!

Last K-State Doubles round of the semester tomorrow! Fairmont Park, 1:30 PM. We will be following the university calendar so there will be no scheduled league rounds December 15th - January 19th.
Josh Carroll November 30 at 11:39pm
Hope to see you all out at Fairmont tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 PM for K-State Doubles! Make sure to get there a few minutes early to get checked in and warmed up so we can start on time.
Travis Bailey November 17 at 1:22pm

Travis Bailey November 16 at 3:36pm

Travis Bailey November 8 at 5:42pm
Works for me.
Josh Carroll November 8 at 5:42pm
===== SCHEDULE ALERT =====
Due to the change in daylight hours, we are in need of a different time to host Doubles League. I meant to meet up with all of you, but this might be faster. I have proposed the following: SATURDAYS @ 1:30 PM. Let me know if this works for you. If you have another suggested time, feel free to comment.

Shout out to Josh for his excellent segment in tonight's presentation to the Parks & Recreation Board. You made some very compelling points from a Students perspective! I'm sure we will revisit these items as we proceed. Plus, a shout out to all the other K-State Disc Golf Club members who were in attendance. Your continued support will be needed to make sure Phase II becomes a reality.

Thanks a bunch guys for showing up to the Parks & Rec advisory meeting! It means a lot and demonstrates the commitment that us disc golfers possess. Hats off to everybody involved in the Warner Park Phase II effort.

Josh,
That is really interesting. How cool is that for the K-State disc golf club... a recruiting tool!
Please be sure to work that in during your time at the podium at Monday night's Park's & Recreation Advisory Board meeting.
Mitchell Brenn October 31 at 2:48pm
Awesome. Ksudgc ftw!
Josh Carroll October 31 at 2:17pm
Who knew K-State Disc Golf would be a viable recruiting tool for incoming students! Got an email from New Student Services:
"There is a student visiting campus tomorrow (Nov. 1), and he is extremely interested in Disc Golf. I was wondering if there was any chance someone might be able to meet with him for just a quick meeting (30 minutes or less) to tell him more about our Disc Golf Club..."
Josh Carroll October 26 at 3:43pm
TGIFF: Thank Goodness It's Fairmont Friday! Come on out for some K-State Doubles action tonight at Fairmont Park, tee off at 5:30 PM
Rick Petrie October 21 at 2:08pm

**UPDATE** Iowa Collegiate Disc Golf Championships, Day 2:
Early start this morning as we competed in two rounds of singles play on the Indian Hills Community College campus course (18-hole, Par 55). Tough course to shoot well considering the best first round score was only 1-over par. Unfortunately, we did qualify for the 2013 NCDGC at this event, but it was a fun trip and a great experience.
Individual Results:
1) A.J. Cruz: 64, 54 = 123
2) Josh Carroll: 63, 63 = 126
3) Travis Bailey: 66, 66 = 132
4) Tim Nispel: 68, 68 = 136

Be careful, it's pretty muddy up there :P Is this a tryout-qualifier round?
I'll be around those parts at around that tine
Probably not for me at least, haven't played Warner for a bit so I want to get some practice in before I start recording scores hah. We'll see you up there Jacob!
