Hey guys what do I have to do to become a member of dogs of disc
Gabriel J Force February 11, 2023 at 2:34am
Do you need a pdga number to play in winter games
Unless the rule changed for 2023 you only need a pdga # for B tiers and above. The only catch is an extra 10 dollars to sign up for pdga events. A membership for Ams is 50 dollars a year and if you play in 5 or more tournaments it pays for itself!

I'm afraid I know the answer, but... Will there be an Ice Bowl this year (2021)?
Josh Pastoor Our Ice Bowl is March 6th it is a fundraising event we do for feeding America we ask for donations like food and non perishable items. last year we raised 700 lbs of food and $700 cash fed over 3800 families.

Has anyone looked into the recently defunct ball course at Leonard and Oakleigh (Highland)? I just saw an article that tells how the land is in the domain of the Blandford nature center. Commercial development seems unlikely, but an ecology friendly activity like discgolf may fit into the plan.
A man named Bryan Earvin had started communications at some point about getting a course in that park but im not sure what ever became of it. I dont see an account on here in his name but the Disc Baron might have more info on what became of that earlier pla.
We might set up a time when we would walk the land close to the street and the club house which happens to be farthest from the current nature preserve.

HI - I'm fairly new to DG and looking to get involved in a league next year, Where is the best place to see any info I will need? Many thanks...
Our disc golf scene page Eric or our facebook page also. We really hope to see you next spring for our league opener. If your looking for a winter league I would suggest Fallasburg Winter League on sundays at Fallasburg Park in Lowell or the Chainwreck DGC Thursday League at Garfield Park. Both have ... more

Thanks for a fun year of disc golf it was awesome. I'm sure you've answered this 1,000 times but is they're any chance of adding courses due to Brewer becoming 1 course? ( I know easier scout than done)
Yes. We are hoping to add Johnson Park to the schedule next year.
Plus, we are hoping to have the Family 9 in at Brewer by then as well.

League members: Bring your appetite tomorrow... there's probably enough meat to feed 200 people. Bring a container for leftover meat if we have any. Bring a little $$$ if you're interested in purchasing stuff the club has in stock, and/or donating for the leftover meat and course improvements ( posts, signs, teach l trash deposit places, etc). I look forward to seeing y'all tomorrow with your player packages and $$ for all High/Low Doubles participants.
Sign in for High/Low Doubles is 10-10:30 tomorrow (9/23/2017) I hope to see you there.

Brewer course-work update: This Friday - July 14, is the date for laying the tee pad cement. (The cement company has informed us that this is their best and earliest.) 10 am is the planned start time. Because of our dependence on the cement company timing, it is important that people who can help with the work let Jacob Stahl (DiscBaron- 616-481-9893) know that they will be there on Friday at 10am. Saturday, July 15 (10am) is now the date for basket installation.

All Disc golfers 50 and over… there is only three weeks left to register for the 50+ DGC Senior weekend events at Kent State University which will include a ‘C’ tier disc golf tournament on July 8th and 9th along with plenty of doubles and side events that make this a totally unique disc golf experience. Saturday night will be an open forum of the 50+ Disc Golf Club Annual meeting. Come and hear what is going on and add your 2 cents. Check it out on Disc Golf Scene and hope to see you there.

Hi all,
What awesome news for the new design being approved! In moving forward, I have been looking at league days and tourneys in the area. There are so many now! I am thinking that a great day/time to set our work days is Thursday's from like 4 or 5 until dark. This will not interfere with out local leagues or weekend tourneys in the area and also allow up to get consistent momentum in our clearing and install work. What do you guys think and shall we post it? Thursday 5/4, 5/11, 5 ...

Brewer Park Discgolf course redesign has been approved by Kent County. This means that we can soon go to the park and start making the needed changes. People, equipment and materials need to be coordinated.
1) This will start with a course inspection by people who would bring the materials and equipment. Those folks and course designers can do this at the earliest date they find mutually convenient.
2) We can now also find the dates all volunteers can come to the park and do the work. The ear ...
