New number 1

I have successfully defeated Andy for the first place disc. He had a slight lead after a missed putt by me. His out of bounds throw/penalty gave me the go ahead to finish out the round and beat him by 1. Good game. Looking forward to your challenge.

Darius making a run at #1

Darius challenged me to a round at Cascade Twp DGC. I was pretty close for the first little bit. When my thumber drive on 7 led to a make-able duece, I thought I would be able to run away with it. Then the wind caught my drive on 8 and tossed it across the trail which left me scrambling for a bogey. Consistency through the rest of the round paid off and I took a 5 shot lead going into 16. Bowser remains in my bag waiting for the next challenge.

I'll be out of town this weekend but look forward to a couple rounds next week.

4 way Battle Royale

1-4(5) discs all played hughes park in hudsonville, mi earlier this week. It's a great course to work on approaches and putts. #1 stayed put, #s 2 and 3 swapped and 4(5) stayed in the same bag. Still looking for more rec players so feel free to invite others.
