Darius making a run at #1

Darius challenged me to a round at Cascade Twp DGC. I was pretty close for the first little bit. When my thumber drive on 7 led to a make-able duece, I thought I would be able to run away with it. Then the wind caught my drive on 8 and tossed it across the trail which left me scrambling for a bogey. Consistency through the rest of the round paid off and I took a 5 shot lead going into 16. Then the wind caught my drive on 8 and tossed it across the trail which left me scrambling for a bogey. Consistency through the rest of the round paid off and I took a 5 shot lead going into 16. Bowser remains in my bag waiting for the next challenge.

I'll be out of town this weekend but look forward to a couple rounds next week.

4 way Battle Royale

1-4(5) discs all played hughes park in hudsonville, mi earlier this week. It's a great course to work on approaches and putts. #1 stayed put, #s 2 and 3 swapped and 4(5) stayed in the same bag. Still looking for more rec players so feel free to invite others.

Starting the 2013 season off

Darius has defended his 3rd place disc against a strong challenge for Jacob. After the front 9, Darius had a 5 shot lead. Jacob rallied on the back to pull back to 3 shots behind but just couldn't close it out. Nice round guys.
