All Disc golfers 50 and over… there is only three weeks left to register for the 50+ DGC Senior weekend events at Kent State University which will include a ‘C’ tier disc golf tournament on July 8th and 9th along with plenty of doubles and side events that make this a totally unique disc golf experience. Saturday night will be an open forum of the 50+ Disc Golf Club Annual meeting. Come and hear what is going on and add your 2 cents. Check it out on Disc Golf Scene and hope to see you there.

There is a BYOP Doubles tournament this Saturday at Reed park. For those of you that haven't played it, it's flat but tough as hell. I'm sure you Fallasburg fans will like it. The tourney is posted on here.

Hey FRDGA fans! Add our club to your favorites as well? We've been making steady progress improving our home course at Avalanche in Boyne City and there's a great new course in East Jordan as well. Next time you're in northern Michigan please check them out and add course reviews here on the Scene. Thanks! http://www.discgolfscene.com/clubs/Boyne_Valley_DGC

Forrest is a great guy and him and his crew are doing a great job!!! Consider checking out their events and helping to support fellow local disc golf organizations.

Josh Russell   June 25, 2015 at 8:41pm

I need to speak up about Forrest and gang in Boyne and Craig Prime and gang AuGres. These are the real unsung heroes of disc golf. I strongly urge everyone to support both of these courses and DO NOT hesitate to give them a pat on the back for all the time, money, effort, and tons of long tireless work. You may even have a little fun along the way.

https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/GreenvilleParksandRecSurvey hey fellow disc golfers, take this survey and mention the need of a quality 18 hole discgolf course in Greenville! You dont have to be a citizen of Greenville to do it either.

On Oct 5 2014 my car was broken in to at my house. It happened around 11:30 pm or after. My Fade Tourney Bag which contains all of my discs with 95% of them marked with my name , was stolen. The bag is light and dark blue in color trimmed in black. Please be on the lookout for it.

Saturday Sept. 27 at 10am at Fallasburg - Hole #16 will be having a cutting to remove Russian Olive bushes and otherwise improve the design and flow of areas off the fareway. Some of the plants are already tagged for removal. Others will be taken if dead/fallen or hazards that are irrelevant to the flight paths. Volunteers are welcome. A chain saw and other implements will be there. However, more tools and removal containers may be useful.

As of right now membership dues will be $20, and Im planning on a long sleeve T-shirt and a disc for the membership package...this may change (I was also thinking about beanies). $5 a week to play with ace pool and 50/50.

Thanks to everyone who has offered their help. Ill think about exactly what I need and get back to you guys. ... more
