maps tee signs and some more work is in the process . we wont do concrete . as of now it will be dirt and until we have real baskets it wont change. and as far as concrete goes, we will be using flypads on any courses we make, it is too expensive and cant be moved . we hope to finish up the creek as far as signs and what not soon and then hopefully we will be on to the next course until we have baskets and tee pads for the creek

I like the new course layout, a lot. Would like a little more info though. It appears like you're putting in pro and amateur tees? Also, when would tee markers and a new course layout map become available?? Who put together all the work to update this course (I would like to get info on helping for future projects)? What would we have to do to put in concrete tees? I understand this all takes a lot of time, coordination and efforts. Good work!
Hi guys, I may have met some of you at the Hickory Hills Open in Traverse City this July. I'm looking for motivated volunteers that live in the U.P. to help, mainly by doing some promoting/advertising at any of the courses you help to maintain. I'm also looking for cash sponsors, so if you know any businesses or ... more
Hi guys, I may have met some of you at the Hickory Hills Open in Traverse City this July. I did the original design for Silver Mountain in St. Ignace, and I'd like to organize an event there in 2013, preferably in April before the jungle gets too thick, or maybe in September? I'm looking for motivated volunteers that live in the U.P. to help, mainly by doing some promoting/advertising at any of the courses you help to maintain. I'm also looking for cash sponsors, so if you know any businesses or individuals that are interested please send them my way. My organization is called "Wild About Disc", a non-profit corporation that specializes in raising money to help fund course installation and improvements throughout Michigan. My events are typically NOT PDGA sanctioned, because I'd rather see player's money go to help local courses. If you're interested, feel free to contact me via DGS, or by email direct at: [email disguise], or by phone: 231-668-7829. Thanks and hope to hear from you soon!
