Anybody interested in my "used" disc golf cart/stroller? I can arrange a test drive if needed.

http://www.discgolfscene.com/trading_post/18098/disc-golf-push-cart

If it doesn't sell locally, I plan to take it to the DU Open on March 29th... where I'll make sure to sell it.

Thanks!

Be sure to get there plenty early... check-in at 1:15pm

By the way, the Bag Tag part just keep rolling with the same tags... there's no change in that, other than it will take place at Warner along with the Points League change in venue.

Rick Petrie    March 9 at 12:34am

DON'T FORGET TO CHANGE YOUR CLOCKS AND "spring forward" tonight... you wouldn't want to miss the start of the Sunday League event by one hour!

I believe I'm behind on congratulating three people for recent Aces.. so here goes. Nice work Austin, Alan & Adam... apparently the "A Team", in more ways than one.

Hey everyone! If you haven't already heard, the K-State disc golf team earned a bid for the 2014 National Collegiate Disc Golf Championships held in April. In order to finance the tournament expenses, the club has arranged to order fundraiser t-shirts. You may reserve a t-shirt now by making a contribution of $15. T-shirts will only be guaranteed to those that reserve a shirt prior to placing the order. Thanks!

Here is your chance to have some input on our 2014 "Break the Chains" tournament discs. I will be placing the order tomorrow... Friday, March 7th. We are ordering Innova discs this year, but can also order Discmania discs. We will only be able to order 3 or 4 models because of quantity requirements. So, let me know what Innova or Discmania discs you would like to see. Let me know in the next 24 hours....

Rick Petrie    March 6 at 1:08pm

More tee sign post are going in at Fairmont as I type!

They're looking pretty awesome so far... if I do say so myself.

sorry Rick I had a couple things come up I'm not gonna be able to make it to the meeting tonightlike I thought I was really wanting to come

Rick Petrie   March 6 at 11:43pm

No problem... we still had a good group tonight. Hopefully you can make it to the next one (which was set tonight for Thur. March 27th).

Rick Petrie   March 6 at 11:45pm

By the way, I'll post notes from tonight's meeting soon. Lots of good stuff was discussed, plus some good decisions made too.

Rick Petrie    March 2 at 10:33am

Today's Winter Weather Warning has been downgraded to an Advisory.

However, I do not plan to "un-cancel" today's league events because of the dangerously cold temperatures. The predicted high temp. for today is 7 degrees... and the National Weather Service is saying "Wind chills will range from Negative 10 to Negative 20 degrees".

If you have strong points why today's league should be "un-canceled", please post them here ASAP.

Thank You.

Ahhh Travis, weather is relative... we would have wrote our league rules accordingly if it took place in Ames.

Travis Bailey   March 3 at 2:55pm

Haha, I had fun. Wasn't too bad the second day.

Rick Petrie   March 3 at 7:42pm

Ya. Looks like you southern boys crush em.

Rick Petrie    March 1 at 9:06am

Go play disc golf today, while it's still safe out there!

Rick Petrie    February 28 at 2:59pm

It's the end of the month... Time to move some baskets... come help at Fairmont at 4:00.

Before they get frozen in place (again) by the upcoming blizzard. Thanks!

Josh Carroll   February 28 at 3:17pm

I'll be out there playing a round. If you can find me, I'll help out.

Rick Petrie   February 28 at 4:14pm

Awesome! we don't need to move them all... some were just moved for the ice bowl.

Rick Petrie   March 1 at 9:24am

Shout out to Ian Waters, Mitchell Brenn & Josh Carroll for helping move Fairmont baskets yesterday! (sorry 6 long is still frozen solid!)

Kevin Zane    February 26 at 12:40pm

Has anyone heard anything about a 2014 Little Apple Open?

Rick Petrie   February 26 at 1:26pm

Ya, kind of. Kindy (w DD) contacted me with some questions... I really pushed for a 2 day tourney... that may not happen.

Rick Petrie   February 26 at 1:26pm

Sounds like they have a few dates in mind... could even be in mid-summer... It boils down to when DD and Smitty (the TD) can fit it into their schedule.

Rick Petrie   February 26 at 1:28pm

In other words, it sounds like their company still plans to host a 2014 Little Apple Open, but the date is still undecided.

Mitchell Frederickson    February 25 at 11:02am

Can someone please post the info for the upcoming tournament to raise money for new baskets. I think there was two or thee events? Not really sure?

Thanks!

(2). Our club has set a standard practice of scheduling meetings (in a fomal meeting enviroment) in order to spend time vetting any proposed club endevor. For example starting new leagues, building/remodelng courses, etc. Reason being, it provides everyone an oppurtunity to collaborate on big & smal ... more

Mitchell Frederickson   February 25 at 3:19pm

OK, got ya. I didn't realize there were 3 clubs. Thanks Rick.

Jon Tveite   February 25 at 8:23pm

No offense taken, Mitchell. Thanks for being interested.

Rick Petrie    February 22 at 6:35pm

Cool to see so many of you at Fairmont today.

Shout out to everyone who helped make it happen!

That course is something we can all be really proud of.
