when do you think would be a good time to order them

My thought is: a group of people decide on a design and split the cost of an order.

I would buy one if you get some.

Mark, I'd likely be interested.

I was wondering how many people would be interested in having a DFOK t-shirt or even a collared dri-fit. It would be cool to have people running around at tournaments this spring wearing Disc Fanatics gear. I'm not trying to sell shirts. Just wondering as the cost would go down for a larger quantity having them made professionally.

I have a pre-release prototype champ teedevil and it flies like a slightly more overstable version of the star teedevils that some of the guys around here have started throwing (across the board, they all seem to fly like a slightly broken in destroyer of the same plasitic). I doubt it will be too flippy for you if you are concerned about that...If I was to reccomend a particular plastic in this disc, I would say that the Star will give you a little more glide and forward finish than the Champi ... more

Hey, has anybody out there thrown a champion plastic Innova TeeDevil enough to have a feel for them?

I am seriously considering buying one of the 2012 Worlds CFR discs... and according to the Marshall Street DG flight chart, it looks like it might be a good disc for me (as long as it doesn't flip as easily as the Wahoo does/did).

Any insight on TeeDevil would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Rick

Kirk,
Sorry, I am out. I played a lot last weekend so I'm not going to play much (if at all) on this Saturday...

Hey everybody! Fellow league member, Josh Prasek, lost a disc on Warner #1 and would appreciate getting it back.

Here's his description of what & where.

" I... decided to throw a thumber just for kicks and it never came down. The disc is my Innova Star Vulcan. It has my number on the back. Thanks"

If you find it you can contact him directly, or just bring it to the next league event.

Thank You.

Rick, If you don't have a problem with driving, It sounds like your SUV would be a little more comfortable for the ride. Lisa's mountaineer fits 5, but there would be 3 people in one back seat.
It sounds like I might have a few friends drop in on us throughout the day so we might be able to get a couple small groups and throw a doubles round if anyone is interested. They all know we will be in a hurry to play as much as possible, so we won't wait on anyone to start any rounds if they run late.

I'm in, I'm going. Which courses we play does not matter. I've played some of them, they're all good...

I would like to be back before 7... which shouldn't be a problem because it gets dark more that 2 hours prior.

I want to bad. I'm on the tail end of a cold though. I think I'm going to sleep in instead. That being said, I might sceduld a round at a local course on here tomorrow at some point. Also, I have Monday off in case someone wants to go on another adventure. I should be good by then.

I can be at HyVee at 8. You should come along, Rick! Anybody else out there interested?

Rick Petrie    January 14, 2012 at 4:18am

If I go, Hy-Vee @ 8am would work for me.

... and if I go, and if we need more room, I could drive my SUV (3 rows of seats).

I'll keep you updated if the time changes, but let's shoot for 8... Meet at hyvee? I'd totally be down for all 3 courses if time allows. I would very highly recommend waterworks and down under and would absolutely love to play up top at rosedale. Cliff drive is pretty close to waterworks and Shawnee isn't too far off course for the ride home. Swope is on the other side of the city but 70 should be a straight shot there. I guess we can talk about it if we have the extra time but a tour of the KC courses really takes a few trips to see them all...

I can leave at 8 if that's when others want to. I would definitely like to play one of the Rosedale courses or Waterworks, if not two or all three. From what I've heard I'm most interested in Waterworks, but I'm flexible. I've already played Wyandotte and don't feel a need to go back there when it's the only course I've played in the KC area. I don't know anything about Shawnee but Swope and Cliff Drive sound pretty good.

I'm up for leaving at 8 for sure, and I'm down to play whatever courses you'd recommend/play as many as possible.
