Just played the full course at Moon Lake for the first time. Long awaited and worth it!

It wouldn't do it justice to give it a review without the tee signs, tee pads and course sign. Right now it does sit at about a B+ but the day will come soon that we'll have what we've wanted for awhile now.

See y'all tomorrow at 0930!

Sorry to hear your sunglasses didn't make it home with you. I will keep my eyes open for them.

**Lost sunglasses** If anyone is playing Warner in the near future, please keep an eye out for my sun glasses. They are Black Oakley Flak Jackets with my name etched in one of the lenses. Probably lost them in the trees on 1, 4, or 8, but could have been on another hole I was poking around in the woods, they were on my hat and were likely hit by a branch. Thanks! Ken

Fort Riley's BRO league will be this Sunday at 9:30AM, early morning to beat at least SOME of the heat and to still have a full day ahead. The league will take place at the brand spankin' new Moon Lake Disc Golf Course. I'll post a picture of directions to Moon Lake on my profile, so go take a look. It'll have a description on how to get there also.

Nice find, Daisuke! Definitely took advantage of that offer. Looking forward to playing with you all when I return in about a month.

Turns out Larry isn't playing at Worlds, just playing his way there to watch & take in the experience. Turns out he's pretty well known, has played 400+ courses in all 50 states, has had many news articles written about him including the PDGA.

I might not be able to make Warner Wednesday again this week, and I feel bad about not being able to put the #1 Tag up for grabs. So, I'll be putting up the tag this afternoon around 5:30 PM if anyone would like to come to Warner and play an 18 hole tag round. Hope to see you guys out there!

I just received a phone call from LARRY KIRK (PDGA #45472) who is driving through the Manhattan / Junction City / Ft. Riley area, from California, on his way to Worlds in North Carolina.

He is looking to find some local players to guide/play with him on some of our courses that he has not played (he's played Tuttle before). If you can play a round with him today he would appreciate a phone call at 209-564-7301.

He also asked for the names of local media outlets, so I gave him the name ... more

An update for tomorrow:

In a disc golf motivated frenzy, I went to the Conference Center today to start pulling baskets to ease the workload for tomorrow. I managed to pull 9 of the baskets, and started the process on the rest. Either it was taking too much time, or I couldn't get it done myself so I'd move on to the next one. So, half the work at the Conference Center's done!

To reiterate for tomorrow:
Who: You.
What: Yourself, Tools, Workgloves, Good Looks, Water, etc. ... more

Just a friendly reminder to everyone that we'll be moving baskets from the Conference Center to Moon Lake this Saturday @ 0900. We need volunteers! We've already got about 8-9 people coming to help. We've got shovels, water canisters for the cement, and trucks to load up and move the baskets. All we need now is labor, and not much of it. Hope to see some people out there on Saturday!
