ok, I scheduled a round on this site: http://www.discgolfscene.com/ for 6:00pm Thursday at Fairmont. If not many people sign up I might pull it and try again next week.

Does the mug have the K-State Mask on it?
That would be Super Cool!
Rick Petrie November 6, 2012 at 10:08pm
The mug has been described & will be returned to it's owner.

If you left a super cool travel mug behind after last nights meeting in the City Commission Room, describe it to me and I'll get it back to you.

Can I get a show of hands,
Who wants to have a practice glow round this week?
Tomorrow, Thursday, or Friday?
I have enough glow sticks for 9 that never got used last year.

Mark, I played Fairmont today. Does it happen to be one of mine?
Robert Adams November 4, 2012 at 8:58pm
I'm going to try o make the meeting as well, but there's a chance I'll be working late as I have for the past 2 or so weeks. Hope to see everyone there.

I'm going to the Park & Rec Advisory Board meeting tomorrow, 4:30 at City Hall.
Mark Kewley November 3, 2012 at 9:10pm
If you left a disc at Fairmont today you can pick it up at the Parks & Rec Advisory Board meeting Monday.

Hey everyone, if you're out and about shopping for discs this weekend you might want to check in with Bill Moss at the Tuttle Creek Camp Store. I hear he's got some new plastic in stock, and I know he has nearly every brand you can imagine (from Discs Unlimited), so he might have exactly what you're looking for.
Where is the Camp Store? It's the little building across the parking lot from basket #18 at the River Pond course. It's right beside the restroom building.

I'll send your last name & email address to Rev. Kev. so he can enter it properly into the database. That way it will link to your profile...

The "Travis ??????" in the most recent Tuttle Tuesday is me. Haha

In order to keep this on peoples news feed, I'm going to re-post Rick's comments. It has drifted down on mine and this is NEXT MONDAY! Come show your support for 9 more holes at the Warner Park Course. Do you support building 9 more holes, also known as Phase II, at Manhattan's Warner Park disc golf course? If your answer is YES, keep reading. If you want to help, please consider showing your support for Phase II by attending Monday's City of Manhattan Parks & Recreation Advisory Board ... more

Do you support building 9 more holes, also known as Phase II, at Manhattan's Warner Park disc golf course? If your answer is YES, keep reading.
If you want to help, please consider showing your support for Phase II by attending Monday's City of Manhattan Parks & Recreation Advisory Board meeting. You will not be required to speak. However, by simply being in attendance you will send a clear message that you support this project (because very few people typically attend these monthly meetings).
Here's the Meeting Details.
WHO: Anyone who supports disc golf. In other words, all disc golfers, plus friends & family of disc golfers should attend.
WHAT: A presentation to the Board about Warner Park's disc golf history, information about it's current use, and of course requesting to move forward with Phase II of the project.
WHEN: Monday, November 5th at 4:30pm.
WHERE: 1101 Poyntz Avenue, in the City Hall City Commission Room (west side of building).
Can't make it to the meeting? Have you ever taken time off work, skipped class, etc. to go play disc golf? If so, maybe you can also find a way to attend this meeting...
Are you still sure you can't attend the meeting? Okay. You can still help the cause by signing our club Letter of Support for Phase II of the Warner Park disc golf course. This letter will be submitted to the City of Manhattan at the above described meeting. (f.y.i. we currently have approx. 120 signatures). In order to find a time to sign the Letter of Support, send a note to me ( at http://www.discgolfscene.com/profile/1365 ) so we can make arrangements to meet.
I look forward to seeing all of you at the Nov. 5th meeting.
Thank you for your time.

<<<<<<<LOST DISC ALERT>>>>>>>>
I left my orange karma by the tree/tee pad of #1 at Tuttle tonight, I'd really appreciate getting that one back.
Mark Kewley October 30, 2012 at 1:54pm
Last one, let's have a good turnout.
Rick Petrie October 29, 2012 at 11:51pm
We now have 110 signatures on our Warner Park "Phase II" Letter of Support. This Letter of Support, with these signatures, will be presented to the City at the upcoming public meeting (Parks & Recreation Advisory Board Meeting on Mon. Nov. 5th at 4:30p at 1101 Poyntz Ave.).
If you have not signed this Letter of Support, but would like to, feel free to contact me so I can meet you to get your signature.
