Several of the regular players of the glow league have mentioned that they will not be there Tuesday night. If you want to play please respond here. If there is not enough interest we will resume Tuesday the 8th http://www.discgolfscene.com/leagues/2012-2013_DFOK_WINTER_Glow_League/schedule

Merry Christmas to all my fellow disc golfers out there!
May your new disc golf gear be plentiful & bright.
I now join the ranks of portable disc golf target owners! Hoorah! Merry Christmas :)

If you happen to be around a TV tonight, you can watch for our fellow/former DFOK member, Ike Ogata, on the sidelines of the bowl game on ESPN... that's going on in Hawaii!
He will be working on the SMU sideline keeping the players in tip top shape.
Pretty cool!

Ft.Riley's B.R.O. League is still on for tomorrow at 1330 @ Moon Lake! It's gonna be a chilly one, but come get a fun round in to ease the stress of your in-laws the next day! If we get a good enough showing, I'll bust out 2-3 CTP prizes as well!

I had a great time at Glow League tonight... even more fun than last week!

I think this is a great addition to our club's list of regular events... especially through the winter months.

Don't let the cold temperatures scare you off, because we're just getting warmed up!! Ahhhhh see what I did there? Seriously though, another exciting night of glow league will start tonight at 6:30pm just like last week. Don't forget some hand warmers and maybe some extra layers and show up for some good times for sure.

***GLOW***
It looks like the LED lights are a lot more effective for basket illumination than chemlights. The most popular method to distribute the light was the milk jug on top of the basket. Next week we could use several more WASHED OUT ½ gallon jugs. We’ll see how the batteries hold out. I’ll keep track of League $1s and the cost to light things up. If there is extra at the end of the season we can have a crazy CTP round or whateve ...

Tomorrow night 6:30 at Fairmont the DFOK Winter Glow League will begin.
We are going to try some alternatives to the chemlights. They are reusable and really lightup the target.
These will be hung out of the path of your disc :)

Jon and & will be running the points / tag league tomorrow. Help us by entering your points division on your score card at check in.
With the start of the Winter Points League, players need to declare the points division they would like to compete in. If you feel that you have the skills to move up a division, this is the time to do it.
Sounds like team Miltonvale might be here so bring your A game and try to grab the #1 tag!
Rick Petrie December 2, 2012 at 4:56am
That's an interesting rumor... sorry I won't be there to see how it works out.
I'm sure there will plenty players at league to verify said rumor.
(By the way, good luck in Indianapolis tonight)

I don't wanna spread rumors but the #1 tag may show up tomorrow along with #24

Scott, Sorry for not being able to attend. It was a perfect afternoon to play.
However, I did put in some disc golf admin. time this afternoon... We've got a fun winter of disc golf growth & work ahead of us, to all who are interested in helping. Should be exciting.
Jacob Strait November 30, 2012 at 1:18am

2. Glow league will start Tuesday the 4th @ 6:30 Fairmont Park.

I have extra lights if you need some.
Rick Petrie November 26, 2012 at 12:07am
Tom is correct. DFOK 1st & 3rd Sundays. BRO 2nd & 4th Sundays, of each month.
I will go fix any DFOK schedule problems that may exist on this site.
Adam Johnson November 25, 2012 at 10:28pm
What are you thinking mark?
I'll be back in town by then, so I might try to make it out assuming the weather isn't atrocious.
If it's snowing...I'm in!
i will not be able to attend, but don't let that cancel any of the fun.
I donu2019t think Iu2019m going to be at Fairmont Park for glow league tomorrow night. So far there doesnu2019t seem to be a lot of commitments. If people want to play, let me know and Iu2019ll get the lights for the basket to someone tomorrow.

:) I spell checked in a program and pasted here. u2019 = ' I guess?
