As for the design that was used at fairmont today I thought the stengths were hole 2, 7, 3, 4, 6 and 8. I just really enjoyed driving those holes and think we can be creative with having multiple pin placements. The area to south east of hole 5 need to be cleaned up and I would love to see 2 holes in there. I think the waknesses of this lay out is 1 and 2 Could cross into each other.

Looking for four fellow road trippers to join me this Saturday to the Little River Food Drive tourney. The course is located 20 miles west of McPherson. About $5/person for gas there and back. Any takers? -- http://kansasdiscgolf.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=4649

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!
It's looking like 2013 is going to be a big year for DFOK.
Course updates & upgrades, more leagues than ever, plus more club activities.

Several of the regular players of the glow league have mentioned that they will not be there Tuesday night. If you want to play please respond here. If there is not enough interest we will resume Tuesday the 8th http://www.discgolfscene.com/leagues/2012-2013_DFOK_WINTER_Glow_League/schedule

Merry Christmas to all my fellow disc golfers out there!
May your new disc golf gear be plentiful & bright.

If you happen to be around a TV tonight, you can watch for our fellow/former DFOK member, Ike Ogata, on the sidelines of the bowl game on ESPN... that's going on in Hawaii!
He will be working on the SMU sideline keeping the players in tip top shape.

Ft.Riley's B.R.O. League is still on for tomorrow at 1330 @ Moon Lake! It's gonna be a chilly one, but come get a fun round in to ease the stress of your in-laws the next day! If we get a good enough showing, I'll bust out 2-3 CTP prizes as well!

I had a great time at Glow League tonight... even more fun than last week!
I think this is a great addition to our club's list of regular events... especially through the winter months.

Don't let the cold temperatures scare you off, because we're just getting warmed up!! Ahhhhh see what I did there? Seriously though, another exciting night of glow league will start tonight at 6:30pm just like last week. Don't forget some hand warmers and maybe some extra layers and show up for some good times for sure.

***GLOW*** It looks like the LED lights are a lot more effective for basket illumination than chemlights. The most popular method to distribute the light was the milk jug on top of the basket. Next week we could use several more WASHED OUT ½ gallon jugs. We’ll see how the batteries hold out. I’ll keep track of League $1s and the cost to light things up. If there is extra at the end of the season we can have a crazy CTP round or whatever the group wants to do. We a ... more

We are going to drop #3 to be courteous to the park neighbor. As the nights get colder more holes will probably be cut as well. 9 just isn’t enough now but in February it might be :)
Do you want to play every week or every other week?
