So, I managed to FRY my phone today. What a pain in the neck!

There has been some interest expressed in playing the original Fairmont layout as a group before the course redesign becomes permanent. Holes that will be completely going away: #2, #4, #6, #9. Holes that will be substantially changed: #3, #5.
How about sometime on Sunday? My preference would be late morning or early afternoon. Any thoughts? If I don't get any feedback by this evening I will just pick a time and post it here.

The meeting is set for:
Wednesday, July 17th, 5:45pm

Anybody else hear that? It's the sound of our new Innova disc golf equipment making their way from the South Carolina plant.
Later tonight I'll post official DFOK News outlining or upcoming work days, plus a DFOK Meeting set for Wednesday night.

I have some scoop on the Fairmont Park project... I should have some big news by mid week...
In the mean time, please start looking at July 27th & 28th, and/or Aug. 3rd & 4th on your calendar.
Rick Petrie July 7, 2013 at 6:50pm
Found on Current #2 Fairmont:
Yellow Innova DX Cheetah stuck in a tree (left it). Might have to call the FD ladder truck to get that cat down.
Innova F2 (Factory 2nd) blizzard disc. If you can name the disc + stamp color, I'll get it to you asap.
Alan Fox July 7, 2013 at 4:40pm
Does anyone know a boatman? or a mark pendgraft? Or someone named Chums? If so I found their discs.... also Jon Tveite if you would answer your phone e I have 2 of yours lol

One week from today I'll be headed to the Sunflower State Games disc golf tournament. Saturday is the doubles format, played just like our Tuttle Tuesday best disc format, however you bring your teammate. Sunday is a standard singles tournament. You can sign up and play in one of the two tournaments for $25 or both for $35. If you medal (top 3 (bronze, sliver, gold)), you'll be qualified to play in the 2014 State Games of America. Personally I love playing in the Doubles event... mainly because there's very few doubles tournaments to play in around here.
So find a partner and let's all go for the gold next weekend. Hopefully we can bring home a medal in every division!
