Anybody that might want to help is welcome, bring friends, boots, gloves, trimmers, rakes and BUG SPRAY. Thus far there have been 4 different volunteers show up and course designer Ron Peludat has plans to have ALL 9 fairways cut by this time next week (weather permitting). Please, anybody that can make a trip to help, call Ron first and make certain that it is a work day -989-876-4155. Ron's plans are to be out there working everyday possible. Be aware, because of the wet entrance area, you will need to take a 10 minute walk back to the area where the work is taking place and you'll need to haul in equipment, water and etc. You may even want to bring a sled to haul stuff in, unless you arrive with a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Some of the volunteers do have 4 wheel drive so when they are there, you'll have a ride in and out for your equipment.

more opinions please
Just considering the night of the week for Sanford's League, possibly moving from last year's Monday time to Friday. What are your thoughts ? And how many are interested in an Handicap PDGA Singles league, maybe playing prior to doubles tee off ? check Tame The Jungle League for others opinions

Guy Gill Disc Golf Reunion Tour - Freeland Stop
This weekend (1-26-13) Guy Gill will be making a rare appearance at Tittabawasee Park for a round or two. The plan is going to be dependent on the weather since Mr. Gill has had 2 winters now in Nashville and it seems he thinks anything below 30 degrees may be too cold. Keep an open eye for updates or feel free to contact me for details

The Jungle in Sanford
Sanford Lake Park is now free to enter until spring 2013. Take advantage and play The Jungle, probably Michigan's only disc golf course that has a crew go around all 18 holes blowing leaves off of the fairways and tee pads.

Disc-Ciples needs more people. Sign on, become a CIPLE, there's power in numbers and we need some power to put the course at Bay City State Recreation Area.

Car Wash was a HUGE SUCCESS a week late
HUGE FUNDS raised with a car wash by friends and staff of Patient Caregiver Services with all funds going to the disc golf course projects that the Friend's of Bay City State Recreation Area are committed to. Thanks

Soon Bay City State Recreation Area will be the home to an 18 hole disc golf course. Bay City NEEDS a club and now has it. Anyone interested in participating, volunteering, holding an officer position - etc, join the group and get involved and make this club and the new course yours to be proud of.
