Sorry we havn't used this feature on this site. Old news - congrats to Kevin & Sarah who got married on the gold tee of hole 5. Our deepest sympathy to the friends & family of Jeremy Bostick & Tom Elliott who both passed away in the past 2 weeks. Toms funeral service is tomorrow at the veterans cemetery in Millsboro.
current news - great meeting last nite. we'll put together the ideas discussed & move forward. I've already contacted the county about recycling & more courses. The parks supt. was excited and agreeable to the recycling idea and will review any plan we come up with. They even volunteered that we could recycle from other parks to raise funds. We need to come up with an acceptable recycle container and a placement spot and then submit that plan to the parks dept.
I have requested a meeting with the Parks Supt & Rec & Parks asst. director. I keep everyone informed as to how this plays out. I'm requesting possible courses at Winterplace, Naylor Mill, Pemberton & Cedar Hill. Winterplace & & Naylor could support 18 hole courses. There is a new county park off of Crooked Oak lane that is in the works but budget restraints will keep that from being viable for a few years.
