so, i just have to give some major props to whoever was in charge of the shirt design for the women's dri-fit tees. i took mine out for a test drive yesterday and, amen sweet baby jesus, it is so refreshing to have a shirt with a logo on the front that is not plastered smack across the girls. well done, dgod, well done.

I was wondering when and where will the dgod ice bowl score will be posted? And thank you guys for a good tournament, I had alot of fun honestly and that's what disc golf is about and meeting cool people to play the sport with.

This morning I shipped off 9 boxes to the 541st F.S.T.!! Added to the two boxes that were sent 10 days ago, a total of 11 boxes of donations to the 541st. Included was a huge picture of the DGOD Crew from the CHRISTMAS FROM HOME Tourney!! Thanks to The Epkers, Dan Brown and to Kevin Davis for the awesome photo, the greetings on the picture and the size of the photo. This morning I shipped off 9 boxes to the 541st F.S.T.!! Added to the two boxes that were sent 10 days ago, a total of 11 boxes of donations to the 541st. I requested Delivery Confirmation so I will post when the packages are signed for and delivered. I have to say THANK YOU to DGOD and the disc golf community that rallied behind this project. Dan Brown..you are a Champion among men!! Vince and Kandi Epker for jumping onboard as they always do. The photo was great, Miss Kandi!! Kevin Davis for being the single largest contributor to the drive. Donations of items, cash and making several enlargements to the photo I sent. Thank you to the Saturday Oregon Team Disc Golfers who made donations at a soggy, wet Milo morning. I apologize for monopolizing the Newsfeed over the past few weeks. This project was very important to Bill Harpster and his son, Ryan, The Members of the 541st FORWARD SURGICAL TEAM and especially to myself. Then I found out that it was important to many, many people who embraced the 541st F.S.T with their prayers, thier love and thier generous giving. Somewhere in Afghanistan, there will be a Very Merry Christmas for 20 U.S.Troops who won't be home for the holidays. Please keep these brave men and women in your prayers, your thoughts and in your hearts until they can come HOME. Thank you everybody!!!!!!

Believe me when I say, we will be getting our moneys worth when they ship these babies!! We have a tally on the postage stamps donated and it is 237 First Class Stamps plus 23 pre-stamped envelopes!! Speaking of envelopes..we have over 700 envelopes collected!! Even a few Christmas cards for the Troops. Two boxes packed with snacks and yummy goodies. Over 70 bars of soap. An ... more

I must say WOW and thanks to all of the people and clubs that are supporting my cause of Supporting our Troops 541st in Afghanistan.

My first thanks goes to Thomas "T" D for all that he has done to spread this like a wild fire.

Second goes to Capital City Disc Golf for there donations thus far.

And a Super Big Thanks to DGOD for The fundraiser they are hosting on 11/18/12 @ Lunchtime park 1 pm. This a free tourney and in return they are asking for donations, There will be discs and a Winterhawks Jersey up for grabs as CTP's prizes.

I will be donating some very sweet disc's and a Portland Winterhawks jersey for CTP's or a raffle maybe..the Winterhawks jersey is brand new and never been worn, so its a beauty. I want to say thanks to Thomas for helping me with this, my son is stationed on a N.A.T.O base somewhere in western Afghanistan and has told me that there is a great need for simple item from home. Anything we can do to provide them with those things is much appreciated by them.

I will be at Horning's all day on the 18th if anyone want to join us or simply drop off donations with me. If you plan on coming just shoot me a PM so I can look out for you. I will be with a group called D.O.R. ... more

those little drink packets that you stir into water like crystal light, az tea, etc etc
wash cloths
towels
white ankle high socks
deodorant, body was or soap bars
oil free lotion
razor blades
Snacks that will not melt
and something that will help them think of what awaits them when they get home......
