CDGA wants to give a big thanks to everyone that came out to play or help today with the L.P. Open! Wow! 91 players and 7 aces later... What an event, much bigger turnout than we could have anticipated. We had a great day of golf and some fantastic weather for the event. Another thanks to all of our sponsors, Biggby Coffee in Charlotte, Wolf Pack Discs, Friends of Chrystal for the extra $100 to the pro pool and most cetainly Skidmore's Village Cycle Shop and Disc Golf for all the support over the past years and everything you guys have done. Thanks again to all those that came out, wow... what an event! See you all out on the course.....

Just want to shout out one last time about our BIG weekend coming up! Saturday the 28th Discraft is hosting a Pro Clinic @ Lincoln Park 1pm. This is a great chance to come out and pick up some tips from the pros. Remember this is no cost to you, all you have to do is show up! There will be freebies and prizes along with some doubles following the clinic and food will be available as well! Sunday the 28th is the L.P. Open, our first sanctioned event of the year. We have 50 custom stamped super color discs for the first 50 to show up and pay their registration fees. We will have an assortment of good plastic available for those who miss out on the Supercolor discs. 2 rounds of 24 holes w/ ctp's an ace pool and 50/50. Along with a basket raffle, and lunch will be available on site. Free coffee and doughnuts in the morning! Registration begins @ 8 am and goes until 9:30, tee off at 10. Lastly our summer league begins Tuesday May 1st. If you havent signed up yet now is the time! 18 weeks of golf, custom shirts if you submit your paid registration by the 1st of may! Shaping up to be a fun filled weekend, hope to see you all out there!

A big thanks to everyone who helped with clean up day at Lincoln Park, it was a great success and the weather co-operated for us. We got a lot of work done and the park is looking good, once the back 15 is mowed we will be ready for the 2012 season! Thanks again! See you out on the course...
