Thanks everyone that came out tonight, we had a great showing with a tough course with some very competitive play in major heat! Hopefully we can keep having great outings like this in the future, without me losing four discs lol. Most likely well be sticking to the more shaded courses until it cools down , giles is a overgrown beast right now. If theres any ideas for doubles this weekend post your ideas , thank again everyone for coming out.

Course change
This weekends doubles will be moved to Franklin Park from Seneca, i guess there's a tournament going on at Seneca for pro's only. I heard this course is fairly open with some brand new baskets and supposed to be pretty nice so i guess its time to check it out. Burke Lake singles tommarrow.

Doubles season ender at loriella
Thanks to everyone that came to the doubles season ender at loriella sunday. The final overall standings for doubles this year went with Ricky Davis in first, Mike Tomlin 2nd and Brian Han****in 3rd. The new doubles league will start again shortly with a clean slate on the leaderboard for everyone to get a fresh start. See everyone at the next outing!

Weekday bagtag singles league
The chaingang weekday bagtag leagues starts this wednesday at pohick bay. It will incorparate pretty much the same rules as the doubles, 30pts for 1rst, 20 for 2nd and 10 for 3rd. The season will go for 4 months then restart. I ordered the tags today so they probly wont be avialable for us until next week. tags will be 4 bucks from each person and i had to dig the internet forever to find them for that cheap. The grange rumors were true about the conflicts they were having about sharing the name, I guess its called the blockhouse disc and country club, a lot of changes going on besides the name I guess, as soon as they open were there!

A day of awsomeness
Thanks everyone for coming out to the chaingang tourney, had a decent turnout and i hope everyone had a great time i sure did. Todays guest to the chaingang Jeff Ma took home the 25 bucks in first, with brennen fowler 16 in second, kim wallace walked away with a cool discraft hat in 3rd. I hope to have a similair event to this in the future but ill gaurntee it wont be at burke lake hahah. Thanks again for coming out everyone and well seeyou at the next event!

Burke Lake Chaingang tourney 4/10/11
Hey everyone this sunday were mixing it up and throwing a mini tourney. This event will take place at Burke Lake park at 11am sharp, 5 dollars a head with the top 2 spilting the pot with the extra dollar going to 1rst and a 20$ ace pot, well possibly throw out a couple discs also. If theres 2 women or more they will have there own group. Singles and Doubles this week
We are going to start trying to work in singles events at least once a week right now , i will setup a league for singles in the next couple weeks with a points system like we have for doubles already. This week schdule is going to be singles at Burke Lake park wednesday at 5:30, everyone pitch in a dollar to the winner, and regular dollar dubz at Giles on Sunday,, questions ....you know how to get ahold of me.

Rockburn Branch/ Loriella Challenge
Thanks to everyone who came out to rock branch this weekend, was def one of the best outings weve had so far this year, weather was great and we picked up some new players. This was a very tough course and well look foward to the tourney here on the 19th. The Loriella Challenge is this sat in Spotslyvania, VA. This is a pdga tournament and you can register threw the pdga.com website, hope to see some chaingang members there...peace!
