Hey everyone! We here at Knollwood are trying to raise money for merchandise to sell for our cleanup and improvement efforts. Follow the link at the bottom of this message for a full description, a short video presentation, and the opportunity to either donate, or share my message with others.
I have just heard that the director of the City of Kalamazoo Parks department has resigned, so we have a new opportunity to truly change the image of Knollwood.

Who's up for a round out to Burch? S2L, L2L, L2S, or rivers edge?
Jeff Dutka December 10, 2012 at 8:11am
I enjoy glow golf and think a tourney sounds terrific!
Danny Benda December 8, 2012 at 11:36pm
yea do that glo tourney. u have ur regular glowers who would play plus just having it be a glo tourney would prob bring in mo folks! im down
Doug Prizer December 7, 2012 at 6:04pm
I'd play. But only if we could use leds, I don't have any glow discs.
Matt Rinker December 7, 2012 at 4:10pm
you may be right, but unless I do a weekend day with one day and one glo rd, it would be a weekday with one night, one round.
I think people would be willing to do a Mon-Tues night event provided to round didn't start too early or late... 630 would be a solid start time. I also know the woods wont have a problem with it, but we may have to pay player fees at burch... burch is amazing to play, but better during the day when you can see all the trees on the back 10 on rivers edge... renegades trail would be fun as long as we played short to long.

I don't know if people would be willing to commit to a 2 day tournament, but personally, I think it would be awesome.
Matt Rinker December 7, 2012 at 3:58pm
Prob woods since people are most familiar with the course, but I'd be open to a 2 day thing with one rd at woods and one at burch.

I played up at sleepy last weekend and I saw the path of destruction myself. Is that something they do annually? I don't think it was like that last year. Obviously it was for whatever pipeline it is that runs under there, but they took down some important obstacles in the process. The big bush on the top of the hill on 8 is gone, and the foliage along the left side of the hill of 12 is leveled with the tree on the right side of the fairway closer to the basket gone as well.

i was pretty bummed to see Sleepy Hallow got a crazy harsh mow job through the middle of the course. anyone know if they are planning on doing anything else up there?

AWWWW. It's my grandmas 90th birthday on Saturday, or I'd come throw down some help. Guess I'll show up later and just enjoy the fruit of ya'lls labor. MSU was always a good fundamentals/wind control course, and the only one I could play in an hr after work this time of year. Very cool news!
Danny Benda November 22, 2012 at 9:10pm

The Ti plastic feels a lot like the Lat 64 GoldLine plastic, in the hand I would say it feels like stiff star plastic. The Ti plastic tends to make the mold a touch more stable than counterparts in other plastics as well, sometimes it's just barely noticeable like with the buzz and wasp, other times its HUGE like with the nuke.
