Hey all,

Random Dubs @ Adair 11am Sunday!

I'm excited because it's MY first club dubs on the new tee pads!!

They really turned out awesome. I'd sure like to see some of our Salem Homies who helped us on the day of the big pour. I know they are working on a new course (Wheatland DGC) from 1-5. Maybe we can carpool from dubs up to the new course and tear it up!

Hope to see you all out there. Since I missed the first dubs on the new pads, I'll make it special this time. There will be at least 3 CTPs!

Like to join you all but need to kind of be at Work party as I'm part of Pac-West board. Was at Adair today with some folks for a couple rounds. Pads are great but didn't seem to shave that 10 strokes off I was hoping for. It's all good and if any body feels like make drive up to Wheatland to join us be great, if not understand totally. Have a great Dubs round

Barry "B" Bolliger   November 30 at 8:33pm

I like the idea of that deli let's cancel cap city random dubs at Dallas and move it to Adair

Billy Gaskill    November 23 at 1:20pm

Doubles @ Adair tomorrow! 11am, $4 buy in, $1 Mulligans (up to 2), $1 Ace pool. (So, $7 "all in")

Normally this is a random draw event. In honor of old Gibson and Banner, we're going to be playing it Pro/Am style, or "uphill/downhill".

Come on out and play dubs on the BRAND NEW CONCRETE TEE PADS!!!!

Hey Salem folks,

We'd love to have a bunch of you come down for WDGC doubles at BRYANT park (we don't usually do doubles there, but since the concrete at Adair is still curing, we've moved a little closer to you all.)

Come on out. Check out the details on the League page for WDGC Random Sunday Doubles: http://www.discgolfscene.com/leagues/WDGC_Random_Sunday_Doubles_2013

Thank you all who helped at Adair. I wish I could have joined you. It is so nice to see a real construction crew perform these tasks. Proper equipment, proper preparation, and the proper skills. Nice Work Guys.

Steve Moore    November 13 at 6:57pm

Was able to back to Woodmansee course today to finish clearing fairways and trails. Thanks also goes out to Ira who was able to help out for awhile and he got bunch of berry vine out of the way. Thanks to him for hole 6/15 tee pad areas looking much better. Lots of leaves moved, tried to get the piles limited and out of way. At least now we can find discs in fairways and around the baskets. Have fun on the course and don't forget about glow tonight at 6 at woodmansee.

Sweet! This was the idea I had for awhile, so I'm glad someone is running it!

Steve Moore   November 12 at 7:18pm

Rodger is supposed to be in charge of this so just passing info on. Tomorrow at Woodmansee and thinking about bringing my lights. You able to make it tomorrow Rick?

Rick Saffeels   November 12 at 8:41pm

Not sure yet but hoping to!

Steve Moore    November 11 at 8:15pm

Spent my Veteran's day afternoon at Woodmansee trying to remove the first layer of leaf and debris to start being able to find fairways and trails. Got maybe about half done today, more then I had planned on. Depending on weather will try to return next few days to finish other half. Also hear there is supposed to be a Capital City disc golf work party after doubles this Sunday at Woodmansee. Always things that can or should be done.

Hey guys been a while since I logged in to disc golf scene but wanted to share a pretty cool event with you guys. As many of you know about a year and a half ago my car was stolen as well as my disc golf bag. Today while at work I received a phone call, a lady had bought them and been in the process of moving and having a baby it was in the last box unpacked and when she noticed how many of the discs had the same name on them she called me. Because she called when she realized it, and I have alr ... more

Alex Barber   October 28 at 2:17pm

She said she bought them from some guy while she was at a bar one night, didn't have a name

Good Job Barry and any others if there was. I would have been there but I was already at Woodmansee today doing some work there on the course, teepads, fairways and basket areas cleaned up and trails leaf blown. Also tee sign 7 done. Good day for our courses, again thanks Barry.

Just for information the Mando sign hole 2 at Woodmansee is now back in place after being redone due to vandalism while back. Thanks to Jon Long for his efforts to plane down face to remove damage, rerouted the MANDO and CCDG words. I then did a paint job on letters with outline. Also redrew the picture area showing tee pads, baskets, and mando tree. Sign was finished with some spray lacquer to hopefully give some protection to it. The tee sign replacement for hole 7 is still in progress as ... more

I believe I was that volunteer and why I am handling it, guess not fast enough but that's another story. Hope to have it done soon and was trying to use materials already paid for if possible. Just wonder who those volunteers were but don't remember and no minutes to fall back on what was said by who. I'm on it so it will be done.

Steven Winslow   October 2 at 11:45am

If you can still email the images set to [email redacted] it would be greatly appreciated.

Kayla Johnson   October 2 at 2:58pm

I just meant, why are we waiting on Beast? I know I volunteered, I asked you to email me the images and you refused.

I would like a answer from Chris Wilcox or other board member that can give us members a good and proper answer as to why the pad pour for today at Taloali was called off. After being in touch with gounds keeper at camp, Sylvia from the camp and also Nate, I can see no reason why this was called off. The camp was reserved but not the disc course area. In fact Sylvia had not even heard from group anything about the work that was planned and said there was no reason why we could not come get i ... more

D.O.R.C.s turnout was typical at only 10 players, so Dallas D.O.R.C.s this week did NOT draw anyone awy from Taloali. But I would like to be informed if voulenteers would like D.O.R.C.s to appear on these scheduled events to boost turnout AFTER D.O.R.C.s. NOTE; "AFTER D.O.R.C.s"
