Hello All! This Friday, May 6, 2011 at 1130 all the baskets will be going back in at Westchester Lagoon! I need help. If you can make it, Let me know. It worked out quite well with two people other than me. (Thanks Tim K and Jeremy Boyd) I will also play afterward if weather is nice. Hope to see you there. Cheers!

I was in town last weekend and thought the tourney at PC was canceled because the baskets were pulled for a couple of weeks so I was Kincaid, anyway I seemed to have left my Buzz (pictured at left) at the sign at Kincaid. I anyone happens to find it please let me know.

Does anyone have current contact info for Randy Knutson? In the past he was involved with the Alacantra course. If you do, please shoot me an email either here or at [email redacted].
Jeremy Boyd April 19, 2011 at 11:15pm
That had the potential to be an even more embarassing typo
AK Discer April 19, 2011 at 10:20pm
You, Brian and Boyd and the only D-bags I miss LouDawg
Lou Dogg April 19, 2011 at 5:04pm
Jones'n for DB??? Douche Bags? Hit me up when you get back into town. I know a bunch of them.
AK Discer April 19, 2011 at 2:55pm
i didn't take any, thought it was going to be dark and windy. There are no courses or targets up here, i guess i could just pick something and throw at it. Been jones'n for DB, not played in 2 weeks :*(
I'll be back tonight around midnight, so i should be able to play wednesday night afterwork. I was thinking of going to PC, but I might try kincaid....been hearing good things about it.
Lou Dogg April 19, 2011 at 3:51am
Who me? It needed to be said. How are the courses up there? I mean course. I mean targets. I know you took some discs right?
AK Discer April 19, 2011 at 3:43am
Um, sir? You need to settle down please, you're disturbing the patrons. You're at a 9 and you need to take it down to a 4 please.

"Can some one put up the info on Milo's non World's biggest disc golf weekend affilliated tourney."
???? Come on! What are we paying you guys for? We are paying you right?
Lou Dogg April 18, 2011 at 5:40pm
I sent Milo an e-mail asking for a flyer. Once I get it I'll add it to the events page.

Sorry! Westchester it is play it tonight while you still can.
Lou Dogg April 14, 2011 at 3:24am
He's talking about Westchester. I completely agree with pulling the baskets (and I'm positive that most of you do too). This gives the ground an honest chance of getting healthy enough to put up with the 400+ daily rounds come summer. Consider all the work we did out there. We still have work to do, there's no reason to add to the work load. Plus, Parks and Rec is saying approx. 2 weeks. I hope it's dry by then. Doubt it, but hopeful. The bad part of the deal is that Kincaid will take most of that traffic.
AK Discer April 13, 2011 at 11:49pm
That sucks this has to happen, but I understand as the Goon will be a mud pit.
I'd be there to help, but I'm up in Barrow until Wednesday.
It is a lot of fun up here where it is -45 at night and the sun being up 24/7
I'm jones'n for some DG :*(
Jeremy Boyd April 13, 2011 at 11:02pm
What course is this in reference to? I'm assuming Westchester...or is it PC?
John Roe April 13, 2011 at 8:39pm
So Matt, is this just Peter's Creek or all Anchorage courses?
Matthew Forney April 13, 2011 at 7:32pm
Unfortunately, Anchorage Parks and Recreation (P&R) is forcing us to close the course for two weeks during "Break Up" time. The estimated date of reopening is the first week of May. This is coming from the parks superintendent, not me. I am merely the messenger. It is with a heavy heart that I bring this news, but it was out of my control. I would rather do without a park for a couple and allow the ground to dry out a little than have the course turn into a mud pit, which is what P&R is concerned with. I know all of you likely have comments and concerns, but this is not a discussion topic. It is P&R's final decision.
Please if you are off work, on lunch and able to attend I would appreciate your help getting these pulled. I am doing this on my own lunch hour and would appreciate any and all assistance. I appreciate your understanding with this issue and volunteering to help.
Louie - Could you please post that the course is temporarily closed on the ADGA website. Thanks! I will post this on Disc Golf Scene.
