I didn't mean to start anything. That was just a fair and simple question. As a member of the ADGA, I care that there is forward progress in disc golf. Thanks

Hey Hater. Put in 1000 hours volunteered and 1 championship course in the Anchorage bowl and you have put in half the work that John did. You better put more time into installing courses and less into hating.

Those of you participating in state dubs, please read the following rules (Edan already posted in dubs tourney). This way we don't have to spend more time discussing them at the tourney. It is your job as a player to know the rules.

Hilltop has the King of the Hill tshirts on sale for $8 a piece, and discs are 25% off as well- some sweet plastic at a steal of a price- Star Sidewinders, TL's, and Vulcans, Champion Roadrunners, Pro Destroyers, Wraiths... I can't remember all the kinds, but they are a good deal! The gals are usually at the snack shack until 7 or so, stop by and get some sweet plastic at a good price! Hilltop will be closing for the 2011 season Sunday October 2nd, plan on playing a final round in the mornin ... more

Any of the places, as long as someone can actually order the discs soon. For an event on the 15th (my last day in Alaska), they need to be ordered this week (preferably by tomorrow). If it is scheduled for the 1st (not sure if we can get the discs here by then) or the 15th of October, I'll buy in two players, as my brother is flying up for the drive down.

Well, I'll be there regardless of where it is. If I'll go to Fairbanks for a fundraiser tourney or Am Worlds for a Major, you gotta know that I both love the sport and am willing on supporting whatever. I just know that if we have it in Kenai or G-Wood less people will show. Sure the same group of us (who are at every tourney) will be there but this is a tourney that can help us get new faces involved with the sport (in a positive way). Not only that, the Ace Race would be a great tournament ... more

Just a heads up. Last year's Ace Race in Kenai drew 33 players. So, I wouldn't count on 20-25 if you advertise. I'm still willing to host, or run the tournament, but due to the move and the house sale I am currently tapped financially.

Girdwood would be sweet and I agree with Steve as far as the turnout potential...it is starting to get chilly

I wouldn't say every basket at WCL is reachable from the tee with an understable putter

I love the idea of an ace race and prefer the idea of Girdwood. We can try to advertise the heck out of it, but even at Westchester you won't go above the 20-25 range. Put it at Girdwood, everyone loves to play there, expect 25.
