FYI, I had a disc that was returned to me. I lost it 3 or 4 years ago. Someone had put something like duck tape over it and made a plus sign and spray painted it back...but my name was still on the disc, someone found it at kincaid and called me.

Just a thought, if you see someone throwing spray painted discs, it might not be theirs.

Big thanks to Jake Haskin, pat miller, john one thein and Jeremy Boyd for coming out to PC to mulch today! We destroyed an insanely amount of trees and brush out there. The chipper eventually bit the dust a big thanks to these guys for putting in some hard work. Hope you like it

Hey all, great work out at Kincaid. The fairways are looking great and I am excited for Dubs tonight. In regards to PETERS CREEK, I got a call from Karen in ER yesterday and this morning we confirmed the usage of a wood chipper and a muni employee to run it. Kurtis has signed on to help. We need two or three more members to help out. The downside is it is for tomorrow during the day. Sorry for the short notice, but she had to turn in a few favors to get it for us and at no charge to us. So if an ... more

We are ready to pour concrete at PC. All the pads got finished wiring yesterday. I met with the Klondike Concrete rep. this morning. They can indeed drive the truck through the course. Although there are 5 pads we will not be able to get the truck all the way to. Edan and I are looking to pour 9 a.m. Weds. morning, that's THIS Weds. It is a good day to pour, sunny and low 70s temp. weather forecast which means the pads can be playable by the next morning. So far, 5 volunteers (3 from Homer) have ... more

I will be out at PC by no later then noon tomorrow (Sunday). We have two tee pads left to prep 6 & 17, about 10 boxes to mesh, wood to chip, and mulch to spread. If you have a big snow shovel bring it along.

Today was a great day out at PC, a lot of progress was made. Thank you Jordan T., Brian G., Dale, Joe S., John T., Loren, Jeremy B., Cas, Will and anyone else I may have forgotten! I am very grateful for your help for today's effort. Cas and I finished the day spreading freshly chipped wood on the basket half of the second fairway on 7. It looks great. Thank you again all.

Adam Klein   July 9, 2013 at 12:01pm

WWhats the plan for leagues?

Mike G   July 6, 2013 at 6:50pm

I went out to Kincaid Andrew, Mat, cade, and myself were there to play and did. Andrew and Mat played twice. I would have helped run it but nothing was posted. Perhaps I mis-understood leagues were closed due to PC work

Jeremy Boyd   July 6, 2013 at 7:58pm

It wasn't posted but leagues were indeed cancelled to work at PC. I think Louie mentioned it Wednesday night. We are making progress today out here, come out for the evening or tomorrow any of you that can. It's looking more and more like a new course everyday

Chris Harrington   July 7, 2013 at 7:57pm

jeremy are you working out there today? im planning on coming out to help for a bit if people are out there

Hey all...regarding PC course...to give us time for preparation at Kincaid we are making a big push at PC this weekend. On Fri. we have some power equipment rented through the weekend (a Bobcat skid steer and a wood chipper). We will be finishing tee pad prep for the concrete pour, chipping dead wood and removed trees and branches. The tee pads need to be graveled, tamped, and meshed. We have a truck to move the chipper around the course. We will be able to chip most of the wood on the needed fa ... more

What hole / holes would you to sponsor at Kincaid for States? I will add you name to the list.

Thad Murgatroyd   July 8, 2013 at 3:20am

I would be happy to come out and cut down the trouble trees I saw blocking fair and challenging lines. I am not out to "gut the heart of pc" but if you take the time to read a Jim Houck book on course design luck should not be the determining factor on whether your disc can glide in. The trees I saw ... more

josh stewart   July 8, 2013 at 3:22am

No thanks, volunteered to help a friend with his hole he volunteered for. No need to have my name on a list, and I'm out for states. Helping just to help

Hey All! I am trying to track down cement forms. I am under the impression that Justin Lawson volunteered to put forms in. But I cannot find his number and people who I think have his number have not returned my calls. I am trying to schedule the concrete for next Monday, so I need help getting this pushed along.

Tre Jones   June 28, 2013 at 11:17pm

damn, i wasnt on. did you try asking dave @ ureeso if he would deliver since it was a community project? i know sometimes they do stuff like that. sorry i was gone until now away from computer

Adam Klein   June 29, 2013 at 6:57am

Justin at Uresco (who is a DGer) gave us the lumber at their cost....I checked the cost with Lowes and it was .50 less a board. Deliver in town is $75, however, Mike Myles was gracious enough to help us out in a bind. I got 8 tees fabricated tonight. But thank you for your interest Tre, it is much more than others who should be stepping up to help out.
